Mind asking, Is there any specialty method of flashing the BIOS ? and how do i flash BIOS on the np7280

Hmm... been to sager website download some drivers but one thing curious here... in the np7280 section there is driver for Quadro FX 3800M and 560M but not for 580M ....so can the driver "NVIDIA Video drivers for Windows 7 and Vista 32 BIT" be used for 580M right ?

You mean flashing BIOS only good when using SLI ?

Received my NP8170 yesterday. Didn't have much time to play with it yet, will be doing so this coming weekend.

Would recommend princej and illegear to anyone interested in Sager laptops. Princej has been helpful and the overall process was speedy.

Just a quick question, it ok to leave my browser (along with cache and temp files) on the ssd? Or would it wear much quicker because of this.

Just noticed something, when i'm booting the NP8170, it stays at the Sager logo screen for about a minute or more, before windows starts loading. Any ideas on that?

Yes, it's compatible with all sager models and all notebooks since it's 2.5 inch in size. It's even better if laptop equip with SATA3

u know? i try google and try to find the answer for it, most of the comment is to update ur driver to the latest. I had updated my nvidia driver for 3 times already and it still persist, so i think mostly it is the card itself which is faulty. 

But the good news is that sgcubehub promise me that they can manage to fix it within 1 week time. So i gonna try send it either by tomolo or tuesday and hopefully can get it back before new year. Else i gonna bang wall.

can anyone tells the Sager NP5165 model is new model or EOL-ing model?

Finally, Just as i suspected the culprit was.... same issue i had last time... finally it resolve and manage to charge up...It shows that it can damage a laptop battery when try to plug in inlet on power on laptop...

fro me the screen size doesnt really matter.560 in sli mode or single gtx 580 is better?i saw in xotic pc that the 560 is user upgradble.what do0es is mean by that?sorry for the noob question.

I have a few questions.
1. Should I wait a little bit longer as the new graphic cards are coming?
2. As for the display are there any difference between the options that are available at illegear? or which display should I get?
3. and also the ram are there any big difference between 1333mhz and 1600mhz? Is the 1333mhz good enough?

yes, but when i connct it, there is no output sound.
Some say that i have to enable HDMI playback at control panel...but there is no HDMI icon..
