About the 6990M price reductions, I have been asked for quite many times.

I think I shall clarify that the current price reduction is only a short-term promotion, and it will last for about 1 month, until the next Sager price list release.

1. All 17.3" models are able to configure Full HD NTSC 90% Glossy Screen.

2. NP8180 is now with 6990M Crossfire, with additional power adapter.

just go get at any computer store (although some store might not have it). The wire is universal for most laptop batteries (well, probably all, i've never seen a power plug that uses the same wire used for desktops hehe)

i7-2630qm and i7-2670qm are priced at the same, which one you will pick?

There is only left-over stock of 2630qm, Sager was using cost price to clear them out and we'd helped our customers to grab some.

There are few cases of ghosting problems, but we never ever encountered a dead pixel problem in 200+ units.

If there is someone complaining about us but we do not know about that, please let me know who is that so we can contact him/her directly.

We can't speak for other resellers, but we usually ship the replacement part to user without having them to ship back the entire system, this can save time, cost and risk.

Just like REX, he got a wrong WLAN module, we ship him a new correct module, then he ship back the wrong module after exchange. In this case, he was still able to use his computer even though his system need to send for RMA.

We are able to negotiate with Sager to make the warranty as flexible as it could be.

Upgrade CPU in ASUS and MSI won't void warranty, just the replacement CPU cannot be covered under warranty terms.

Both RJTech and Xoticpc are Sager reseller.

The difference is RJTech requested using Clevo brand instead of selling Sager.

The difference is:

If problem is brought up:

RJTECH RMA: You -> RJTECH -> Sager
Xoticpc RMA: You -> Sager (Xoticpc does the leg job)

The difference between our warranty and US reseller - Sager warranty

All US resellers are only offering Sager warranty, means you will have to ship back directly to Sager no matter what problem comes up (unit defect on 1st day, order unit specifications are not correct etc). Those resellers do the leg jobs to get a RMA number from Sager.

Our warranty consist our part of labor, transit and parts warranty and Sager genuine warranty. Which means you can ship the unit to us, we bear the international shipping cost, or, we will ship the replacement part to you without having you ship back the entire system (not always).

1. NP5165 & NP5175 8gb 1333/1600MHz ram price reduced by RM155, means 8gb 1333MHz is free upgrade.
2. NP8180 2 x 6990M price is further reduced by RM155.
3. NP8150 is now default Matte screen capable.

Yeah it is normal.

This is webcam software problem. You just need to install a better software. smile.gif

I recommend Manycam.

It is a symptom of hardware failure, may I suggest you to contact your reseller to set up a RMA?
