QUOTE(Keenxlimit @ Nov 20 2011, 12:40 PM) I have the same problem too, but only if I leave my laptop on for 2 days straight or so. My screen will flicker, but will not be force restarted though. ya, i leave my notebook 24/7 on without shutting down, sometimes it just screen flicker then back to normal, but u still need to restart as some of the colour seems like weird. or it just looks weird.I guess that is one of the hardware failure for 485m gtx |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Nov 30 2011, 11:14 AM) There is no 8GB module for HyperX. I am not sure whether tat website is updated or not, but notebookreview forum have someone using 8gig hyperx ram, i am not sure whether he is lying or not, but many people seems like believing him. http://www.kingston.com/hyperx/products/khx_sodimm.asp So, you can have 4x4GB max for now. |

For me, i just plug in the battery through out the rest of the life of my lappy, there is no point plugging it out anyway since leaving it there not using for long also will spoilt it, i might as well treat it as a backup battery when forexample the electricity trip or cut off, my hardisk and the rest of the hardware still protected.

The recurring problem in my laptop is the Kernel driver error or something, related to the graphics card My graphics card will always restart itself after several hours or so, so i think thats it Spray that thing out with compressed gas? I did it on a piece of nugget under my keyboard before I dun have the problem like the starcraft thingy. |

QUOTE(Keenxlimit @ Dec 18 2011, 02:46 PM) Yeah, you still can use it u know? i try google and try to find the answer for it, most of the comment is to update ur driver to the latest. I had updated my nvidia driver for 3 times already and it still persist, so i think mostly it is the card itself which is faulty. But in my case...LOL I've been so depressed for a week now because of this... But the good news is that sgcubehub promise me that they can manage to fix it within 1 week time. So i gonna try send it either by tomolo or tuesday and hopefully can get it back before new year. Else i gonna bang wall. |

well, if the old card still on stock, then i will getting the old one no prob. The performance for 580mgtx is just 5% increment. So i dont really mind though, but if i can get it, it is a plus

Mine problem is the screen flicker.. then showing error, then whole system hang and goes into BSOD and force restart. I guess that is graphic card issue and it is not the driver or windows prob

For me, i uses OWC, it is quite good but once awhile my laptop will automatically restart and all the boot sequence are mess up. But i think the recent firmware update should fix this.
My SSD is 120GB and for me, i think it is way too small and i have no choice but to install other software at the other hardisk. Still, i prefer everything install on one hardisk as it is easy to clean up like for example, i can just format my C: drive to erase everything. If i install other program to another hardisk, i might need to be manually remove those programs. So my second SSD, i gonna buy a big SSD drive at least 250gb above. |

QUOTE(leonardtan2 @ Jun 25 2012, 09:41 PM) guys help me. Any advice on lowering the temperature for my Sager NP8130? The PRocessor temps are hovering around 97C after 3 or 4 hours of gaming ! And my graphic card is around 87 c ! Even if i use the Fn+1 feature it hovers around 94C. Also i dun want to spin the fan at full speed for to long. Afterwards the motor dies then i'm screwed. Any help please... Did u check ur fan whether is it turning? Have to ever change to a better thermal paste? |
