i find westerners more open minded on whatever topic that you throw at them (so far tried to talked to them about politics, entertainment, sports, wiminz, computer related stuffs etc) during wow (minus those emo dudes, ninjas, achievement wh0res, epix wh0res etc) and it's better to get close and know your potential customers

hmmm... sounds like you're playing a mut rogue whose tries to spam skills but keeps getting 'not enough energy' 'position' problem? or you are dealing with annoying caster class?

why hate holy pally? our aoe healing is still wickedly weak compared to other classes

overall pally only do decent healz in both pvp and pve compared to other heal classes and blood dk... they have the most oh-pee healz in game cuz they deal damage and heal themselves at the same time!!!

the only advantage would be cds (that needed to know when to blow few of them under certain circumstances). in the current 20% nerf ds i still hafta blow cds (bubbles and bop... which transfers only magic damage) to soak last 2 impales from tank, when priest can do a betta job than me

owh, i picked up tank spec again but somehow i also made few people wet their pants off when i tried it out in heroic mode

it depends on your heal but in my case, i prefer to heal with shaman than pally becuz they can help with certain amount of dps (if they spec into the skill). i see both pally and shaman are quite tank oriented healers

i find holy paladin's aoe weak due to heavy mana usage, that's why almost all hpally goes for the blue ones instead of the red/ green ones due to high mana/ haste buff when fighting ultraxion, when *almost* all mana used up and certain cds (for mana regeneration/ increase hps) blown thru out the fight.

although shaman not really good at soaking impale (the health buff from it is just.... bleh...), it does quite well on elementium bolt (or taking zon'ozz tentacle disco after 10 bounces) with their healing rain + spirit link+ chain heal combo and that is enough to move the raid towards the kill.

i'm those healers that don't like to pop cds unless it's necessary, and doesn't like spam fest. those who party with me in heroic dungeons would not be in full health; they only survive because they don't do anything stupid and didn't ninja main/ off-hands from me

i don't follow any aoe rotation, i just spend holy power mostly based on situations: i'll LoD the crowd if boss is doing aoe damage, or wog to people whose in need of quick heal (regardless of holy power), i seldom use fol unless there's something to compensate the mana cost, such as guardian or divine favor.

i have reserves for crusader strike; it costs extra 3% of paladin base mana to cast, compared to holy shock. i only use it during yorshaj encounter when i'm in need for 1 extra holy power, and on other fights, i'll stay at the back 90% of the time.

i'm not sure about how priest function but resto shaman can actually dish out quite a good amount of dps compared to paladin. the talent 'tulleric current' lets resto dps to keep their mana full while conserving mana tide for later use. there are few fights where shaman can actually squeeze some dps out just for mana: morchok's blood phase, yorshaj's ooze phase, hagg's silly 'NOOOO!!' moment, gunship (drakes), spine of deathwing, and madness.

there are some trade-offs shaman need to consider: to go for that kind of build, he has to stay at 916 base haste and invest certain amount of crit

yep, my bro is using a silly 75+ dps weapon in d3 hell difficulty and normal mobs of 2 take about 6-7 minutes to die, the scary thing is elites are tougher and will have extra annoying perks... at least i managed to convince him to switch to a 100+ dps weapon after the standoff...

last friday was movie night, had me dinner in tgiv and watched black dude in black shirt went back in time in pavilion (snuck a starbuck coffee into cinema).

last nite i had some conversation with real id dudes and they were wiping at the ds 1st baws. i dun think they were undergeared, unexperienced or standing on top of bad stuff, but knowing that losing 5 raid members in the midst of raiding from power outage really really sux!!!

i was like, 'WTF TMNut!!! i mean... TNB!!!' after hearing the news, no wonder some people still thinks we live on treetops...

i wish them steamrolling the raid tonite
