 cm 690 top panel release?, repainting

hi, cannot figure how to release the top panel on my cm690.
the top i/o panel inside the top plastic casing, wires, prevent removal more than 4-5"

im plan to sand this down, primer, wetsand, etc..
even im able to release, how can wetsand with danger the i/o panel become wet?

want repaint, black to pink.
for metal, must sand, primer, sand, primer, sand~

these im read

for plastic cannot? dunwan scratch but worry black cont to show under paint.

top panel both metal, plastic.

seem hard to paint, very unflat. curious any have attempt? result if so?

Remove all i/o connector and wires before you do any work. Sure easier. All cm cases their i/o can be removed.

sorry if im not clear,

I/O panel in the top plastic casing is issue.
cannot find how to separate panel from plastic casing..

even im tape over with masking tape, water sure to get underneath, break I/O.

they are mounted using screws. it shows in your pictar there. unscrew them using a screw driver.

just remove those 4 screw at the back of the top panel...

 

Change to:
