Just bought 2 sets of Onkyo HT-S5300. Very good price. Selling for RM1999 per set. This is a great system for those who want a powerful audio experience for a modest price. The sub was huge 10" that can shake your room. The sound is awesome.

I just bought 2 sets. Brand new sealed in the box. All the things wrapped with plastic.

I have no problems with the receiver getting too hot. It does get just a bit warmer. This is normal. As long as your getting good airflow around it you shouldn't have any problems. So far I have tested few Blue-Ray movies, and no problem with the audio/video quality.

Last 2 weeks ago HN got clearance fair from 13/5 -17/5. Actually I went there to try HT-S3300. But the salesmen recommended me this set. First day, they just sold 3 units. I did not buy it on the spot. Then the next day, I went there again and still available. No more thinking then I paid for 2 sets. The next day, they called me up and ready to picked up. The salesman told me that the display unit was sold out too. As I knew, the display unit with scratches also have been sold out with the same price RM1999.

Sound was great for this price. Im not audiophiles type.

I heard HN warehouse sell at RM3399? Now at RM2799. Very good price already. This set really good for entry level for home theater setup. When the time I bought at RM1999, maybe only 5 sets are under this promotion.
