G6PD, I think Google and Wiki will be able to give you more information. My friend is a G6PD baby but she's 23 now.
From what I heard over the years, two things must avoid is:
1. Kacang Parang, the one that looks like kidney which is yellow in color but comes with a black shell. Salty. That one, you must never allow your child to eat because they dont have the enzyme to break it down in their body.
2. Moth ball, the types where you throw in your cupboard? If you have plenty of those in your house to clear away cockroaches, your baby will not be able to tolerate the smell in high amount, will cause the baby to faint. Which happened to my friend when she was younger. She visited one of the church elder's house, playing in the daughter room and suddenly fainted due to that smell.
