Guys.. Can someone post wut is his fuel consumption for golf GTI.. I want to compare with mine.. So far full tank (RM90) Ron95 can give me just 400km.. Is it normal for GTI?

I got around that too with heavy footing. The best reading I got so far is 520 km ( my car's jst over 5000 km).

How the hell u get that bro?? What petrol brand u used?? Urs GTI. Or TSI? Damn good FC!!

Mine is GTI and I use RON95 BHP. Mostly town driving. Only short sprint on the way home in evening that I able to tekan 160-180 km/h along the Grand Saga Highway to Kajang. Morning, light footing la, banyak kereta! If light footing, MFD reading easily I get around 7l/100km. Under heavy fooing, it can go up to 13l/100km. If really heavy with S mode, can go up to 15l/100km.

Mine max was 128.... During sunny day chasing the GTi.... Conventional way to cooldown is to slowdown the speed Hehe.

Just wonder, why the temperature gauge always stay at the miidle and shws reading of 90 degree, while the reading in MFD sometimes is lot higher?

No worries, u got a trouble free GTi. That's what's important. RNS, 18inch rims.... all can be added later. I won't wanna pay extra for the sunroof because that's a feature I'm sure I won't use.
There's one thing I do wish my GTi to have....... and that's cruise control. wink.gif

Yes, I wish my GTI comes with cruise control too. Anybody knows where and how much does it cost to install it?

anyways today tested my roc to the max. guess this is the max speed the 1.4 tsi can channel out ... the magic number is 233km/h. pushed the pedal to the metal for abt 2min... 6000rpm@6th gear on S-mode...

Nice video bro! Rocco tsi comes with 7 speed DSG right? So, I just knew that under Sport mode, the gear will not shift to the 7th gear ya? Very good top speed for a 1.4 engine. Impressive!
I tested my stock GTi to the max beore and got 240 km/h with D mode and it was on the 6th gear. Given what you achieved, the difference in the top speed btwn TSI and GTI is not that much!

not sure how to chk that via my RNS510... 2molo let me go chk it .. usually js use the navi and media player onli ...hehe ... y the gps speed is more accurate ?

GPS speed is more acccurate than the speedometer. In my GTI, the dial speed was 240, but speed recorded in my Garmin GPS was only 232.
At that speed, I found the suspension on the Sport mode was too bumpy. With Normal mode, it was more bearable la smile.gif
