I know. But I tried the cheaper ones and they don't look as good and last as long.

QUOTE(futobuta @ Jun 1 2011, 12:13 AM)
Sorry for bringing up the petrol issue again ah. I'm currently using the ESSO RON97. But the service centre ppl are recommending me to switch to Primax 95 extra. What do you guys think? Any noticeable difference in performance when using these two? I'm using Primax 95 for my other ride and it seems smoother and more powerful than the ESSO 95. But what about ESSO97 and Petronas95? Is it an unfair comparison? Part of me wants to follow my service centre's advice and go with Primax95... but part of me is worried about the possible drop in performance.  rclxub.gif
*
Primax 95 is the best among all 95 after some testing.

But still it does not give the performance and smoothness of the 97.

N/A cars can take 95 quite well but somehow or rather our engines don't really like 95. tongue.gif

My current combo is 95 + 97. Quite satisfactory so far.

hie..just a quick question here - anyone paired our phones to the car through Bluetooth before? Saw the phone button on steering and manual, but the salesman told me cannot be paired..."-_-  thank you very much for your help....
*
You can't.

Unless you've installed a Bluetooth module from brands like Fiscon.

That alone will set you back another RM2k+.

Another option is to get the original bluetooth module from VW itself, that would be around RM2.5k

I didn't know they sell it too. smile.gif

Yes. He is and pretty helpful. There was a tick-tick-tick sound near the driver's seat. They initially though it was the black door panels but it wasn't so. They took some time to discover that it was something loose inside the seatbelt adjuster that was causing the sound. They also helped me tighten the rear seats that were causing some rattling sound and reprogramed the side mirrors to open faster from the folded position.
*
I didn't know one can program the side mirrors' speed of opening?

A higher capacity engine definitely has the advantage especially when it comes to high speeds, like on the highway.

Smaller engines like the 2.0 Turbo found in Golf GTI's are good for town driving, and on lower than 220 km/h speeds.

Really ? my camry has 2.4L and seriously xbest lansung drive more than 200km/h.. but my gti 2.0T really really really best bawak 200k/mh im talking on highway..  thumbup.gif

2.0 Turbo engines still on par if not better than anything below 2.5

Anything above 2.5, that's a different story.

yesterday drove to melaka, followed a 2004 accord until 200km/h but he did not give way, so tried to overtake on the left but dun have time and got a corner, afterwards only found out that his car is the 3.0 V6 version  sweat.gif

Haha... 3.0 cars have no problem at all at high speeds.

yes in term of quiteness camry win big time over gti, but it seems like when you are on180km/h with camry the speed are hardly increase to 200km/h not like gti u press a bit still in climbing although it is slowly..

In term of stability gti win over camry, camry 200km/h i feel scared oo mcm bawak kapal terbang.. Gti superb mantap keras.. But it cant never challenge audi a4 2.0T haha seriously handling and stability audi the best.. keras semacam oo
*
The Passat's NVH is almost the same as Camry/Accord. smile.gif

Stability wise, much better than the 2 Japanese makes.

passat cc's engine and gbox is the same as gti
nvh maybe better than gti

bigger cc still plays an important role? then why gtr with 3.8L can reach top speed same as 5.0L and above?
*
NVH of the Passat / Passat CC is better than Golf's. smile.gif

GTR is a different breed of cars la. smile.gif
