Fellow Gti owner here as well. Have been a forum member in VGM and Low Yat for quite a while although not really active. Have also noticed the VGM forum is always down and stumbled upon this thread here. Anyway managed to gather lots of info regarding our cars from both sites.

By the way, is anyone joining RCA or HPC next week? Would love to meet fellow members there. Thanks.

I'll be going for both coming weekend.. if my car don't koyak during RCA hahaa. Will try to join you in July if I don't have anything on. My car is totally stock so I would like to get a taxi ride in your modded FAST to get an idea how much faster a modded GTI feels like!

Yeah, I got gt5 but I last switched it on like 6 months ago...think sudah tua I rather play those puzzle bubble type games.hahaaha..Know what you mean about the lines..I am not seasoned driver, last I went to Sepang was last year as well. Always cannot remember the braking point.


VW sales is up but their service centres are not expanding to deal with the extra cars. Wanna service must make appointment 1 week in advance.

Our cars quite reliable on the track. Only the brakes fade and tyres overheat depending on how hard you push. But normally after 4-5 laps your oil temp also increase so go back and pit for a while and go out again.

Does anyone know a good place for windscreen repair? I wanna seal some stone chips and a crack. Got hit by so many stones during the previous track sessions including one which deformed my bumper as well. The same can be said for the head lights.
