And bmw and merc will complain to the MIIT about the prices again and stocks of gti would be stuck in port klang for ages..... (like the passat cc if you didnt already know that....)
Speaking of stuck cars, my SA was telling me it's lucky that I got my Golf TSI in June. According to him, VGM is having Passat CC-like trouble with the latest shipment of TSIs and GTIs. No idea how accurate this is though.
Damn i want those rim !!.. and the interior styling also written the 35 mark and the gear knob wow so nice the golf ball style.. That style can be found in golf gti adidas version aite guys ?

(Akrapovic Detail) Just recently Email the Akrapovic malaysia dealer and this is the detail that the person told me

" - The price has been revised by Akrapovic by giving us more discount so to be more competitive. 9K - is the price on retail. And we always give some discount. - There is no titanium version for the GTi (except for the tail pipes). Some models have in Ti and some only in Stainless steel or vice versa. - Put it simply that Ti is a much more expensive material and difficult to work with. - Akrapovic has Ti exhaust with retail price starting from RM13K ( Evo X) to RM 45K ( Ferrari 458 ). The S/Steel starts from RM6.4K ( Renault Clio ) to RM 14.6K ( BMW 335i). - One important issue is - not many suppliers show what can be pproduced with their exhaust. There is no dyno graph. Even if there is - it not in detail. Nobody really knows what is the performance, - All Akrapovic exhaust are dynoed on standard cars - without remapping. Also bear in mind that all Akrapovic mufflers are road legal version( with EU certification ). You can buy a loud exhaust which makes more power needs remapping but it's not legal for road use. - I would suggest you visit and see all the exhaut you have in mind. You'll realise there's a big difference in workmanship and Akrapovic is the best. - You'll be surpised that Akrapovic even has a foundry for Ti. Their Ti is propreitory and the best. There is a tendency to crack and pit on other types of Ti used by other brands." This is the actual price akrapovic kit for VW Mk6 Gti :-
The least parts you need to purchase will be:
M-VW/SS/1H "WV GOLF VI GTI (2009-2010) SLIP ON SYSTEM (TÜV approved/Street legal) SS exhaust system with mufflers"
= RM 6042 plus TP-VWGMK6-T "TAIL PIPE SET WV GOLF VI GTI (2009-2010) Titanium adjustable and removable tail pipe set dia 100 mm"
= RM 3475
Totalling RM 9517 Discount 25% Final RM 7137.75
The link pipe is optional.
If this is inatalled you'll get better throttle response.
Akrapovic exhaust sounds good. I am impressed:

shit man, sounds sooooo goooddd!!!! haha wonder TSI can do anot, maybe can get those sounds haha
Should be able to fit but what you need is a custom made adapter to fit in the exhaust and a rear bumper that can fit twin exhaust. So best would be to get the GTI rear bumper.

haha, yeah very true. maybe get the revosport back bumper and this same time. should be garang! haha

If you get just the revosport back bumper, it will look lopsided. You would need side skirts to go with it and a new bumper. Next thing you know, you would have spent 16k on the entire Revosport kit

ya i'd rather spend 15k on the R bkit. btw got group buy on vcm about caractere bkits, wonder whats the damage hmmm....
wah, thats not including the exhaust right? i meant the cvgo 630 125 2a part. the one with twin huge tailpipes. same price to change my rims. hmm, now which first?
for Golf TSI with DRL, any way to turn off the rear tailights with DRL On? I have asked my SA & Technician, but they say can't be done ... is it anywhere hidden in the MFD menu or have to go elsewhere for coding?

What do you mean by turning off the rear tailights with DRL on?

i think he's missing the coding, cause before they coded mine, i could turn on the back leds simultaneously when im running on drl only. after the coding, the rears are activated separately like what we're using now.

btw with exhust SGD4595.00
Really? Mine is both switched on when I run the DRLs (that is why I have them off now as my rears aren't LEDs). So we need to get VW SC to change the coding so both lights can be controlled separately when choosing DRL, correct?
it will take a looong time and alot more VW owners b4 it starts filtering down to the aunties and uncles at coffee shops that Conti does not mean expensive service
yes, car can be coded for DRL on only and no rear lights. but i doubt most VW SC will know how to do it.

Wait till 60K service, can cry looking at the total bill. DSG oil costs RM600++!
