iPad home button, not senstive/working or slow response

Lately, i find iPad home button not sensitive and does not respond well when press it.
Tapping home button twice does not show up the background apps. It's intermittent, do you have similar problem or how to fix it? |

No, I didn't press hard on home button, most likely is hardware problem.if yes, your home button spoiled due to stress. We should press softly and press in the middle.
