First of all, what year is the Persona H-line that u checked was manufactured? Chances are, it's not a PE. Which would mean, it's using a 16 bit ECU with old meter design and old bodykit design. The new 1 is at 59k, but u get a new car of course. My suggestion is, if u really like the PE but not willing to spend so much on a new car AND that the 2nd hand H-line is in good condition, I'd say u go for the 2nd hand one, and spend some extra money to facelift the entire car to look like PE. ECU isn't that important actually; I'd rather have the old one if u ask me.

Sorry for the late reply. Well it seems like there are many other members who have already replied ur question & problem.

Anyway, my advice is, if reconnecting the car battery still presents the same problem over time, then perhaps the problem is with the player itself. Removing the fuse isn't gonna help any further if cutting the power supply didn't do the trick.

And u did say that it happens always when it rains. There might be a short circuit somewhere with the power supply to the radio/head unit. Go get it checked by any accessory shop. If that's the problem, the solution would be a simple taping-up of the wires that are exposed.

I'm not scolding them. In fact I don't even know the student. At Kumon, it's not just the learning that have to be fast. Even the marking also have to be fast. And when u see students making CARELESS mistakes like this really damn hot wan lo. It slows down the marking process. If he write 17 I still can accept, maybe error while calculating and writing 4+3 =7, maybe mistake wrote as 17. But 19?? How in the world u get that?

Our stock coil mats are made by Yuuma, and it costs about RM 150-200 to get it done outside. But I dont think Proton sells M line without the coil mat. Unless u're talking about B-line.
