QUOTE(azbro @ Jun 14 2011, 08:08 AM) best is to link the Dune to a network, so you can choose which firmware you wanna update... Good info sharing.. at least I have a clue if I decided to get myself a Dune later on.. Still waiting to dispose off my Eaget M9.. If you have problem (first time i heard this), update to a latest version which is NOT BETA...try it out first |

QUOTE(klimal @ Aug 1 2011, 12:07 PM) press the mute button on the remote 4 times and then the numbers 1 or 2. Is this the same way to change the region code for Dune HD Smart D1? Or Smart D1 can't change the region code?A window will open on the screen to confirm the region change. Then press OK. Thanks! |

QUOTE(nocando69 @ Aug 20 2011, 06:56 AM) There is PATCH in order to change the region code...take note. Thanks bro.. Will try that out. http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18187 It will work with all Firmware and so far, all models from Dune 3.0 upwards. Make sure you are in the Main menu (or better known as home screen) when you do that trick Cheers azbro |

QUOTE(DannyOP @ Aug 27 2011, 05:50 PM) can't change the region on the Dune D1. The unit was bought from Czone, I believe one of the authorised dealers. Anyway around this? Tried the region patch also doesn't work. My smart D1 with the patch can change the region.. Just that the 4x press on the mute button have to be a bit slow.Added on August 28, 2011, 10:55 am QUOTE(horray @ Aug 27 2011, 07:28 PM) The link was at the Post #97 in this thread..This post has been edited by willkso: Aug 28 2011, 10:55 AM |

Just a bit curious as my Dune HD Smart D1 can't play the Kick Ass BD-ISO. It just hang while loading but the same BD-ISO can be play on my HD Media HD200a which's realtek R1055 chipset based player, albeit without the menu..

QUOTE(geforce1999 @ Nov 1 2011, 02:33 PM) Any error message on this at all? My dune 3 can play Centrion BDMV but no sound, no matter how I set it but no problem from my friend using Dvico... really strange... No particular error message as the Kick Ass BD-ISO just hang at menu loading.. I also experience some other m2ts or BDMV without sound also but the HiMedia realtek R1055 based player can pass through the HD audio to my AVR. My HD Dune Smart D1 running the latest firmware tho..Added on November 1, 2011, 1:35 pmNo problem on Kiss Ass though... |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jan 25 2012, 08:52 AM) If your Dune D1 was connected to internet, it can auto check for the latest version firmware. Else, you can always download the latest version from http://dune-hd.com/firmware/hdsmart_d1/Copy the latest firmware to USB drive root and upgrade from there.. |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jan 25 2012, 02:49 PM) You mean: WOW.. you really need step by step guide..1. Download firmware to USB tumbdrive 2. Plug thumbdrive to Dune 3. And then?..... I am not interested in any Beta version and there are so many version listed. Which version should I go for? 3. Sources -> USB Storage -> Downloaded firmware 4. Press ENTER 5. Select 'Upgrade' and press ENTER If you're not interested with the BETA, then just choose the latest non BETA which's Version "110606_1315_update1" (the latest stable version) Version "110923_1710" apparently also a stable version but it wasn't released for D1. If you want to know, the 1st 6 digit represent the firmwareware release date. This post has been edited by willkso: Jan 25 2012, 02:56 PM |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jan 25 2012, 09:14 PM) Thanks. It's done but video (MOV) taken using camera still only produce picture but no sound. Video works fine on computer. Any idea? I think it's better for you to specify what camera that you use to take the video as different camera do have their audio codec(usually aac format) and usually computer won't have problem to playback the audio from your MOV video taken using camera as the codec was installed.Your setup is important too as sifus can try to assist based on your setup. I mean if your Done D1 connected directly to TV or AVR. It could be your audio output setting or capability of your AVR or TV |

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Jan 26 2012, 08:03 AM) As I mention above, the MOV file most of the time using aac audio codec. If D1 connect direct to TV and audio out was set as raw, I think it might be the TV won't be able to decode the aac format. I'm just guessing as I don't know your TV model. Can always try to change the audi setting on you D1 to decode to LPCM and see if it does help.. |

QUOTE(andychucky @ Dec 19 2012, 01:46 AM) I am using Dune D1. I have and ISO file which read 'Mismatch between disc and region player codes'. Hw can i solve this? There's posting somewhere along this thread mentioned how to apply patch to enable region change for Dune and how to change the region to match the BD-ISO file.. Can't recall where but you just have to read through..Added on December 19, 2012, 12:59 amJust have a look and it's at Post #97 This post has been edited by willkso: Dec 19 2012, 12:59 AM |
