my tv supports 100hz. i understand that most of these media player output 1080p up to 60hz max. so my question is does the tv upscale the signal from the media player to 100hz automatically? thanks

No plans to bring this in.

Looks like it's more targeted to IPTV provider to use as set-top box.

The unit is so pathetic, only comes with 256MB of memory. Adding an external memory would be a 'must' then.
Does this 8670 chipset support 3D?

Just a bit curious as my Dune HD Smart D1 can't play the Kick Ass BD-ISO. It just hang while loading but the same BD-ISO can be play on my HD Media HD200a which's realtek R1055 chipset based player, albeit without the menu..

Boss, in the loop... rolleyes.gif
Are you running Oppo currently as well?

Between 93 and 95 hmm.gif , whether or not should we opt for the XLR stereo out connection?

That is the lower end chip right ? compared to 8642 ? I'm wondering why those cheaper sigma chip like 8654 in WDTV support gigabit while higher end 8642 does not.

Hi all. I'm not sure whether I can ask this question in this thread or not, but I don't know where else to ask. So, here goes. Which is better? Dune, Popcorn Hour or Dvico TViX?

Dune is better among the 3. It's less buggy (bug-free), more features and gives full BD menu playback.

+1

I still have my Dvico 6500. Many flaws and unable to play iso file. Collecting dust. Forgotten how many media players that I bought and sold it off. Now, using Dune Prime 3.0. Flawless in my case. smile.gif

So far I've never experience anything like that.

Try:
-Another HDD..dun tell me you got one only laugh.gif
-Make sure the Dune got proper ventilation, but i doubt this got anything to do with it.
-Downgrade firmware, then try a few movies...if OK, upgrade again.
-Check all cables are properly connected.
