How do you guys hold the iPad 2 for things like surfing the web, watching videos, playing games?
Do you fold the smart cover and put in on a desk (upright or flat) Put in on your lap? Hold with 1 or 2 hands? Prop it between your knees/leg?
After using my iPad 2 for a week or so, I have still yet to find an optimal way or position to hold it. The most tolerable position I found was to sit on chair and put in on a desk and maybe prop up the smart cover with some books so that it's at a higher angle.

I use my lap because currently I don't own the smart cover and is waiting for my casings. But I prefer to use it on portrait mode.
Gaming, browsing, typing - landscape and lap News reading and others - handheld and portrait at most.

The best way to hold it would be on a desk, but I get some comfort using it on my bed while lying sideways with it locked in portrait mode. Can't do too often, tend to be fat and lazy this way.

For web surfing that requires some typing such as browsing this forum, usually it's landscape since the bigger keyboard is pretty handy to me. Otherwise, portrait does the job most of the time, at least for me.

I tried playing Rockband once with the screen propped up vertically in landscape mode with the smart cover. Tipped the whole iPad over a couple of times. Other games aren't that bad. Like with Order & Chaos Online, I play it with the iPad on landscape mode with the smart cover on. For every other game like Infinity Blade or what not, it is usually propped up with a mixture of books and pillows. I tried using it on the bed as well. Locked the screen in landscape. Wasn't as comfortable to use compared to the iPhone 3GS. Considering of getting that HDMI cable thingamajig and plug it into a monitor so that I don't have to 'look down' but can look at the screen with my head held 'straight'?
