QUOTE(terryfu @ May 16 2011, 11:35 AM) I expect will be a lot of lag, slowness, etc due to over 75 mil PSN users are going to log in (36 mil in US accounts alone). Still, I just want to sync trophies and redeem my Dragon Age 2 goodies which needs PSN to be signed in (this is my Msia account btw). Just check the official playstation site for Thailand, still down.. Sony should use that map and give a live cast update (eg like Soccernet's gamecast). So surprise Thailand get first. Anyone can verify that? |

It's down again even in the US, they twitted 2 hours ago that it will be only 30minutes, now still down.

Yup, a lot of twitter messages going around and examiner.com is giving life updates on this from US and even Australia which is great. Hopefully by the time I get off work this things would have cooled off a bit.Source: http://twitter.com/#!/playstation |

I have downloaded games from both PSN US & PSN Msia so am wondering will there by any issues. Yeah, cause I saw some rare-posts that PS3-updates can screw up, then can't boot, have to manual boot. Then all the saved-games, records, etc. all gone. Imagine the hours spent to unlock/get all those trophies, special items, etc.QUOTE(Saigo @ May 16 2011, 11:48 AM) Can we use squidproxy for this instead? Anyone knows how? I have a UK PSN and I still can't access it. I suggest to download to PC, copy to USB-HDD (FAT32, also read the FAQS on first page on how to do it), then plug into PS3 and update through storage media. It is much faster, rather than leaving your PS3 switched-on (switch off TV) to download, the speed can be fast, or trickle down to hours. Better use the hours to play games than wait |
