Recently I read review about CM690 II Advanced. Most of them says that the CPU retaining hole isn’t large enough to accommodate common socket placement.
And other Cons also but the one stated....Hmm...I think its gonna be a big problem Any comments about it? |

QUOTE(LBYuan @ May 14 2011, 08:54 PM) Recently I read review about CM690 II Advanced. Most of them says that the CPU retaining hole isn’t large enough to accommodate common socket placement. I'm using CM690II plus. So far no issues regarding socket placement. Like any other CM cases, just make sure the front panel works properly. And other Cons also but the one stated....Hmm...I think its gonna be a big problem Any comments about it? Will be very silent since low rpm yet still high air flow . Never own a haf yet but cm 690 pure . I dislike HAF and cm690 II series ' side panel |

But, the air come out is very very little lol. So I prefer 120MM fans |

LOL you cannot judge fan air by feeling.
For 200mm fan the air is not as concentrate as 120mm on your palm. That is why you feel lesser air. In technical, 200mm fan is better than 120mm in term of airflow and silent. |

Which one better? cm690II plus have none of those but the interior is still black. not sure if it still on sale though. to me HAF 912 is ok but I would prefer the non windowed version so that I can customize the side panel lol. the side panel window on the HAF 912 advanced is too ugly for my taste. |

So the conclusion is the Socket placement problem only occur during installing large CPU cooler e.g.Hyper 212+. Can it go in at last?
So I need to install CPU cooler outside the case then only I put it rite? |

Can it go in at last? my deepcool ice blade pro weighs 1kg. I reinstall it once since it needs cleaning. no need to take out the mobo & not really a problem with me. maybe because of different mounting for different CPU I guess. So I need to install CPU cooler outside the case then only I put it rite? just wondering, what's your budget for casing actually? |
