too lazy to quote. here's to those who mentioned about diff commentators for champs league after this:
i thought the game commentators are the same? always thought that espn star only broadcast the game that comes together with its own english commentators? what i noticed was only if theres any problem with audio feed then only the guys at espn star commentate the game a bit while they fix the audio prob. correct me if im wrong |

"There are players who need a game anyway. Darren Fletcher, Paul Scholes and Anderson will all play. So will Berbatov, Evra and Van der Sar. -SAF
So tonight we can expect a 4-5-1 formation I guess. For me I hope Nani plays, on the left, and Gibson plays on the right - yes I don't want to see Valencia getting a knock before we play Barcelona hohoho At the back I hope to see Rafael playing - simply because that would mean he will be available for the Wembley Finale. Evra on the left as mentioned by SAF, Smalling playing as a centre half. Any other defender to partner him except Rio - this bloke can get injured any time so best to not take the risk. Up top Berba will be playing alone - might be partnered with Owen perhaps as the game goes on a bit longer. Blackpool will be playing for their Premiership spot so we can most definitely expect things to may become a bit feisty or, I hope not, downright ugly. Being relegated from the top flight means a huge huge loss financially these days. |

LOL. Paid so much for the "super injunction" just to have an MP blurt out your name in front of the whole country just...like....that. If he really had to say it, he should have done so after the Barcelona game though that idiot of an MP. I'm just hoping this doesn't affect the player involved or anybody else within the club. Outside the club who gives a rat's bum.
I would hate to see Giggs sitting on the bench or not play even in the Final because of this. On the Berbster; so, who wins the Premiership golden boot? Him or "that Argentinian"? On what grounds? |

QUOTE(Wan @ May 24 2011, 07:23 AM) It would have no bearing on the team line up. Outside stuff doesn't matter much unless if affects the performance of him on the pitch. And he, SAF and the rest of the team must have known already about it. So I don't see it as a problem. But the press will make sure to create a distraction before the final. Whatever happens, I expect it to be magnified 100 times over after the final and they will use the result of the game to further hammer Giggs. This. Before this due to the gagging order he can afford to not worry so much about this matter. Now he has stuffs to worry about - main one would probably be about how it will affect his family, his children in particular. UK media can be very vicious and do not care about the effects of posting such stories on the people around the accused. Giggs is just like any other human being, trust me he WILL be affected by this matter being in the open. It's just a matter of whether or not he can get his head together in time for the game which is now too early for my liking.Added: remember Rooney was given time off where he went to Dubai to sort himself and to fix his marital problems? So yes, SAF will consider this latest incident. This post has been edited by Rhadykall: May 24 2011, 07:40 AM |
