If fuel is ur concern then worth it. For me, power 1st, fuel 2nd. With that power/speed, I need a car with a lot of safety features. Can't understand why people drive below 100km/h just bcoz want to achieve low fc...
Speed didn't kill but stupid & careless kill...
13 years ago, running 110km/h make me sleepy & hentam side divider. Lucky no car from the back. After that speed limit is priority no 2. Careful is no 1...
As an owner, i think you should really test its power. So far compared to my sisters 1.6sx (6spd), after few times compare, confirm Insight faster. Especially the roll-on power. Insight cheats with its abundance torque (IMA motor). Simultaneous run from Johor to KL, average 140km/h, 1.6sx consume 28liters while Insight 13.7liters.

dun think i will go that at this moment, by looking at the battery exchange price, its kill me and even fuel money that u saved end up will paid back at battery cost then

but with it fully imported Japanese car at this price, hmm this is awesome some more ppl claim its safety feature tip top

It wont kill you. The battery cost only RM5-6k and going cheaper. The savings from Excise & Imports duty exemption already more than RM30k.

I just test drive this car 2 weeks ago, it's a pretty impressive car and the performance was good also. For a 1.3 it felt like I'm driving a 1.5.
But it's too small to be a car of my choice, I felt quite cramped up and at the back seat it's quite difficult to put 3 adults there (I know most cars has this problem, but Insight was really small) and it's very low too (Aerodynamic design), whenever my friend goes through a bump or some slight bumpy roads, I kept hitting the ceiling of the car..

Yeap its not suitable if you always carry all adults. The most is 4 adults and 1 kid; ok. The center back seat is high. The rear legroom is good though.
Insight and Forte is a different car altogether but people will always compare it due to almost similar price tag, together with City, Vios, Inspira etc. I used to prefer Forte 2.0sx but the refinement in Insight caught me. I frequently travel alone so space is not my concern. But the only niggling issue with Forte that hold me back last time was the pull-to-the-left issue. Some can address it by adjusting the camber etc but it comes back after sometimes/ tyre worn etc. My sister keeps complaining on that also.
