After a very long deeeeep thought, and loooonggg painful endless waiting period, I finally got my Forte 2.0, clear white.

Guys, noob question. When I opened the radiator cap, should the water level be all up, filled the hole? Mine is at base level. Or should I not bother on the radiator cap, just check on the coolant reservoir level?

My one week old Forte started to squeak already, it comes from the dashboard

How do you guys take care of your leather seats? Any product to recommend? Is it just me or it feels like the Silverstone tire on new Forte is a little more quieter?

Is the windscreen of Forte really a little greenish after tint? My tint shop says Forte windscreen has sort of green hue, that's why after tinting it looks a little green!

Thanks, I'll go and have it checked on my 1K service. Only if it's a simple fix though, I don't want them to dismantle the dashboard and introduce a new one. The sound seems like it has gone away today. Probably because it's raining and cooler today?

Anyway, my SA promises me emblem, full tank, steering lock, tint voucher (useless), smart tag. But I only got the full tank. Excuses:

Steering lock / emblem - No stock right now, and no money to buy yet. Wait till his salary come out.
Smart tag - He said now that, only if I buy the body kit with him.

Do you guys to choose which insurance to buy? My SA simply get RHB Insurance, and does not even have 24/7 road assistance service.

Make sure you go for a test drive before deciding.

Guys, any Forte owner who did the front tint at CannyCool? It looks a little greenish to me. Is it really because of our front windshield has green hue? I actually saw the film by itself has green hue.

My 2.0 can hit up to 13.3L/100KM, 100% city drive. I don't mind as I expect this already. On highway, 6.6L/100KM, and push the speed up to 190KM/H easily. I bet it could hit more than 200KM but every 5 seconds there's a car blocking. Back driving at 110KM.

Anyway, the stability is really nothing to shout about if you ever drive a continental car. It's table, but not as stable as you think. Should stop treating your newly car as if it's made from heaven and worshiping it. It's just a decent normal sedan. And please drive safely.

Anyone installed strut bar, does it make any difference? I'm thinking of getting it fixed but I don't want to mess with its torque. I can't find strut bar torque value (to be used with a torque wrench, right?) anywhere in the manual. I don't want a screwed up load on the mount. Would this void warranty too?

I feel Forte rides like a sampan a little bit. How I wish the MDSP can be tuned to make it a tad more sensitive.

Manual shifter goes till 5th gear? That's strange. If 6 speed, should go till 6th lah. Got 5 speed version?

I had the same feeling and b****ing to my family how I need to support them etc. (BAD!!). After a year or so, I got a much better salary almost twice as much, and bought the car. Pray and work smart. One day, it'll be yours. Dare to dream and good luck.
