You boot into windows 7 DVD , and at there you restore using the recovery partition and fix it

Added on May 13, 2011, 10:45 pmChoose Windows Complete PC restore , and make use of the image the youre recovery partition , and before you do that remember to backup everything.

No don't try to format first , i think that 1 malaysia netbook has an windows image store inside a hidden partition , just the recovery utility can't be access , so to access to image , use a windows 7 DVD

dear respectful technician seniors....i really need ur help...i also receive the same model...it was the "creatiiv netbook 1 Malaysia" from a student...it was given for 2011 batch.i forgot to check for the recovery partition...and i reformat it completely.after i done format n install everything into the netbook,i found out there is one small little problem, although i assume window 7 will auto detect all the drivers for the device.BUT!it fail to detect the network adapter n video controller's driver.
When i check into the device manager,it appear to be driver missing, and i tried every thing, video controller i manage to found it.

The biggest problem is my network dapter(WLAN,wireless 802.11 driver) is missing.I try broadcom,realtek,ralink,microsoft,autheros.....nth seem to b working...desperately need help...T.T

Bascally you need to find out what devices that you are having in the netbook.
Download Everest Home to get name of the said devices and google the devices name to locate the driver.

No,it doesn't goes with magic,if you got newer hardware,it woun't detect, and it is still better to
-recover original is possible,to save trouble on illegal windows.
-think twice before you goes format
-use a WinPE BEFORE you going to format.

Beside, unless there are too many file rosak, you will don't need to format to clean the virus.WinPE bootdisk are pretty nice.Try them! cool2.gif

You can through three ways to recovery system:
-press "F1" to recovery when the screen shown the BIOS logo.
-Press "F8" to recovery before the Boot OS, to choise the "Repair mode"->"Reinstall Windows".
-With win 7 to recovery:
Choose the Control Panel -> Key in "Recovery" -> Choose "Recovery" -> Choose "Advanced recovery methods" -> Reinstall Windows".

*Deleted the Windows.old and Windows.old.O00 on C:\
Windows.old&Windows.old.O00 is backup the old data of C:. you can pick up up need file then do delete.
Otherwise the space not enough of C: while second recovery System.

most of 1malaysia notebook recovery partition doesnt work well.

best solution is reinstall operating system using win7dvd.

if the recovery partition also have win7 image, it is same as win7dvd anyway.

But if you reinstall a new Win 7 copy, it will void the OEM license of the old installed copy. Unless your customer buys new retail Win 7 that is. smile.gif That is why it is advisable to recover the hidden image.
