anyway i have another story to share,

I serviced my lovely gen 2 cps at proton pandamaran, klang, my most frequented service centre, went for 70K service. I have good relationship with one of the service guy, unfortunately he wasn't available for the whole week. I got my car serviced anyway. After the service i checked the list of items done by the service centre... service sheet show a shit loads of items checked during the service including servicing the brakes.

Service went all fine... few days after I noticed a screeching sound coming out from the left side of the car, initially was intermittent, i'm based in kuantan so i thought i would go back to the service centre again the weekend. But by the end of the week the screeching sound was no longer intermittent but continuous. Scared i went to spare parts shop and got it checked. To my horror... THE FRONT BRAKE PAD WAS WORN OUT and the metal indicator was scratching on my disc all the while...   furious i picked up the phone and gave the service center a piece of my mind. I ask them to pass to the guy who serviced my car, wanting to ask him quit his job and go farm, naturally he wasn't available...     

with that i pose a question... are you guys still going to proton service centre or elsewhere?

bodo mech.........i change my brake pad outside during 60k km ++ the pad is about 50% worn...timing belt set buy from proton parts shoppe n change outside too...but i fulfill the book registration/service....just for future preference...."my car maintain by proton mah"

Just braggin.. Yesterday play2 with Inspira 2.0..it still powerful compare with my car wor. But the acceleration is almost same pace coz when i pick up the inspira driver change from right to left lane avoiding me using his wind for advantage (using same tactic as me when someone tailgating me)..as i floor the pedal & climbing to 190kmj the inspira keep gaining distance from me. IMO he must doing more than 200kmj as i stay 190kmj around 4-5min it still smoked me (infront of me around 1km). Now i know how powerful is 2.0 mivec.



Just for short review, the apm performax abs is very nice. Car feel planted at straights or corner & the comfort is just nice. except when hit line (found at the gap between road & bridge at hiway) is quite backbone breaker. Else is nice..

Max speed 100km/h, shift gear at 3k, slow down earlier.

I pump RON97 today. RM50 can just give me about 170km.... But the engine so quiet and powerful. Overtake a honda city ivtec with 3rd gear

100km/h max speed still might be possible for me, but shift at 3k rpm...

Careful...might get addicted (like me  )

Yeah...must fully utilized the engine capabilities, if not, the engine will be sad...

Top speed cps will lose unless have final drive like campro used to have. 4th gear max out at 160kmh just not good enough. Bigger cc engine will catch up during higher speed. Anyway no replacement for displacement. Unless go for force induction. 

huhu yes bos correct . Buth then on 5th gear just total power loss.
