Why so quiet nowadays...???

Anyway, just bought the vibration dampaner paste from howie. Waiting it to arrived (hopefully tomorrow). Will update the effect/improvement.

Supposedly it can reduce external sound and vibration. Planning to apply it under the rear seats. Looks easier to apply than normal soundproffing sheet.

IMO its doesn't make sense to keep the car at home when we still need to pay the monthly instalment and being stationary for a long time also not good for engine and other parts.

Racing spirit is ss2. Another version of ss2 is the dual clutch. I wanted to get a racing spirit but at that time no more production because 125z is on sale already. Thus I bought the dual clutch and mod the clutch to racing spirit.

Finished applying the Brax sound dampener to the metal floor beneath the rear seat. Waiting for it to fully cured.

Huhu...my memory card corrupted... all step by step pic gone. Tomorrow will snap the finished result... IMO, its easier to apply than mat type, just take a long time to finished as it be applied one layer at a time and need to wait for it to dried/cured in between layer. NIce if you like to DIY (like me). Once cured, it looked similar to the OEM soundproof stuff (those black coloured ones).

Improvement, now I can barely hear my exhaust when idle and when cruising below 80km/h. But now I noticed how loud my engine is. Does anyone knows if its easy to DIY sound proof the firewall?

1 can only. But if applied in thin layers, can covers a lot of metal parts. One can is about 1.5kg of the paste.

I've got plan to BOT my ride, but after finish paying the monthly instalment, which is after another 4.5 years... laugh.gif

IMO if wanted to transplant, better buy the older gen.2 because of the cheaper price.
