as a juve fan im very glad with week 12 result
now juve lead the table with 5 points again thumbup.gif

toni is already in WC06 smile.gif
diana scores again after scored for Azzurri against ivory coast

all the best to italian clubs in CL/Uefa tournament this week biggrin.gif

QUOTE(rEDs @ Nov 17 2005, 07:11 PM)
They should invert blue-white for second jersey instead of "roma"ish color. its just dont fit for the azzuri for that color.

I also prefer if they could use Juve this season keeper shirt(1st jersey) as second jersey. Thats more toward patriotic and better design as well.

that is not our 'home' jersey
that maroon jersey is GK jersey

but i extremely agree wit u
they should take the idea from buffon jersey to create a new Azzurri jersey

great match between viola-juve in week 14
the match quality was really good
entertaining display

palermo still struggling with their match concentration
keep conceeding goals when they should had won that match
maybe becos of their young players at the defence line
no commanding players to organize the defence

udinese is still in bad condition
milan lost to chievo gave juve a 8 points lead
but its still far from over

week 15 would be interesting,milan-inter
milan looks better, but we never know
last season milan derby, inter was controlling the game but milan still come out as a winner

QUOTE(theripper @ Jan 19 2006, 08:56 AM)
Italian Government steps into TV rights row

Italy's communications minister Mario Landolfi told Serie A clubs and television networks to find a compromise and resolve a row about TV rights that has threatened the competition.

Fourteen Serie A sides had threatened to boycott matches against Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan in a multi-million euro dispute about how clubs sell their broadcast rights.

Landolfi, after a three hour meeting with soccer and television chiefs, told a news conference he had told those involved to use their good sense to broker a deal.

'Those in charge of soccer and television have been urged to find a solution that guarantees the championship and fulils the needs of the broadcasters,' Landolfi said.

i hope they will find a good solution for this problem
these small clubs needs some protection n funds to make sure their survival
i want Serie A back to the 80s n 90s where they had the infamous 'the seven sisters'

user posted image

im not sure if its genuine
but it does make sense considering that the african cup teams got similar design

checkout the latest ivory coast jersey ....

user posted image

tunisia n egypt wear the same design
so there is posibility Italia 'Home' jersey would use this design

pic cilok from lelong.

im not sure if that jersey is genuine abgpedro
somebody said its a 'thai-made' jersey
n subisidesports representative said the Home jersey for Italy would use a different design

anyway i went to spore yesterday
and some shops there claimed this jersey to be the Home jersey for Italia
so i guess we can assume that this would be the 'home' jersey

enuff bout Serie A mate...we gonna face germany in 1st march
now lets talk about it biggrin.gif

Lippi picks his squad for frenly against Germany

QUOTE
Marcello Lippi has recalled Christian Vieri, Simone Perrotta and given Fiorentina’s Manuel Pasqual his debut for Italy’s friendly against Germany.

Vieri has shown better form since he began playing regularly at Monaco, while Perrotta has been the driving force behind Roma’s revival with 10 consecutive Serie A wins.

Pasqual is the only absolute beginner in the side, having impressed since his move to Fiorentina from Serie B outfit Arezzo in the summer.

The left-back will turn 24 years of age in mid-March and has made 23 League appearances for the Viola this term.

He was playing for amateur team Derthona as recently as 2001, going on to Treviso, Arezzo and Fiorentina, so he should make his Azzurri bow in his ‘home’ stadium.

Palermo defender Christian Zaccardo is also included, as Juve's Gianluca Zambrotta is injured, taking the Rosanero contingent up to five players.

However, Lippi has left Milan’s Filippo Inzaghi – on target again today – and Real Madrid benchwarmer Antonio Cassano at home. Gianluigi Buffon returns after his shoulder surgery, with Udinese’s Morgan De Sanctis and Livorno shot-stopper Marco Amelia as back-up.

The Azzurri will take on the World Cup hosts at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence on March 1.

Italy squad: Buffon (Juventus), Amelia (Livorno), De Sanctis (Udinese); Barzagli (Palermo), Cannavaro (Juventus), Grosso (Palermo), Materazzi (Inter), Nesta (Milan), Oddo (Lazio), Pasqual (Fiorentina), Zaccardo (Palermo); Barone (Palermo), Camoranesi (Juventus), De Rossi (Roma), Diana (Sampdoria), Gattuso (Milan), Perrotta (Roma), Pirlo (Milan); Del Piero (Juventus), Gilardino (Milan), Iaquinta (Udinese), Toni (Fiorentina), Vieri (Monaco)

im happy with the recalled of perrotta, oddo n de sanctis
n after some brilliant performances by pasqual in the Serie A so far
he deserve a shot in the Azzurri team

but 4 goalpoacher striker in the squad ?? vieiri,laquinta,gila,toni....
del piero is the only support/assist striker in that squad sweat.gif

looking forward for the official announcement of the new 'home' jersey

anyway lets test out the germany army in florence....

Forza Italia !!

relax...totti will make it to the WC
im optimistic he will be in germany
the big question now is about his form in the tournament
but a gifted n classy player will always be influential eventho not at their best form

after wc06,we can count on some of young player in Serie A
montolivo is the man who has the same playing style as totti rite now
n aquilani is the younger version of pirlo....deep playmaker
hope both of them will be great in the future

actually fiore can take that spot behind the twin striker...but he is more similar to lampard compared to totti
n that wont help much...cos we need more creativity when the 2 striker upfront are the 'goalpoachers' type

anyway...
here are some of the pic from the italia training camp smile.gif

both of them are key player
im sure u guys dont want materazzi to partner canna laugh.gif

oddo should replace zambro at the right flank for a while
im not confident with zaccardo
his performance during the frenly with swiss was horrible shakehead.gif

anyway u guys bought the azzurri jersey already ?

im quite worried when i see lippi field 3 center midfield in that match
cos that would be too center-oriented attacking team,no width at all
im worried ghana will park everybody in the center n block all the passes
but im glad to see perotta n pirlo working tirelessly, they were everywhere..not just on the center

anyway i hope de rossi will much more wise with his gameplay
sometimes his defending action really throbbing my heart laugh.gif
hope he will be more cautious,if not it will risking the team n himself (yellow/red card)

the performances still not the best like we've seen in the past few months
i hope the team will just get better, especially on the flanks
now zambrotta is injury free.....
lets bring back the full-force fullbacks of italy !!

my rant about the player.....
nice haircut by totti, the straighten long hair of camo really doesnt suit him laugh.gif
buffon jersey in this tournament is the worst gk jersey italy ever had
bring back the silver color jersey damnit !!

it was a good performances indeed....
i believe we should have lead 2-0 even before the half time biggrin.gif

now lets try USA....
maybe there will be a match gathering for this match organized by milanmalaysia n juvefc malaysia
i will keep u guys updated rclxm9.gif
