Here some basic info :

Both are different coarse, by the way im SEGD 2nd year already... or you called it (software engineering and game design).

Game design got 2 spot , In FIT ( faculty in IT) and FCM (Faculty in Creative multimedia)
what is different between both of it?

In SEGD -> you intent learn lots of programming, 3d modelling, and some mathematical algorithm. Yes you will learn like sofware engineering but also you will learn some Arts in game design.

In GD( or fcm called Virtual reality) -> you intent more to modelling , graphical structure, and more towards to arts. ( no math if not mistaken.)

The differences : between SE and SEGD

In SE : basically you will learn How computer works. and sort. you will learn programming deeper then Game Designer and managing data in computer. ( hacker you may say so. )
In SEGD : basically you will learn programming but not as deep like Software engineering ( SE) , i would say yes you will learn all those thing for modelling.

PS: at first glance segd is quite boring coarse... so slow.. and lembab nak mampus... but after you getting your core subject... i would like to say best giler!!! most subject are no finals in segd. xD shhhhhhhhhhhhhh dont tell anyone!

you determines. When you move in, and it is vacant, you can choose which bad you like most.
Early bird gets the worm.
But if you 3 reach at the same time, then discuss properly among yourself.
single bed --> single bed and whole cupboard to yourself. NO TABLE
double decker ==> double decker bed and sharing cupboard between 2 people and study table.

Be extra aware of the surrounding. I don't think u shld carry it around.....Just keep it in ur hostel room and lock it in ur cupboard =_=. A lot of ppl has...skillful hands. Seen many ppl lost their laptops and ended up crying. When they r asked about wat happened, they say they left it for a while...and poof!

They did picked up my call when I asked about registration deadline. I asked the customer service personnel to direct me to the specific department... And for public transport, if you are from KL. U can take rapidkl E1 from pasar seni to putrajaya sentral. Then from putrajaya sentral take U429 to MMU. As far as I know only U429 will pass by MMU. The approximate journey time is 2 hours. (I experimented it)
