Hello all, I have been offered the course 'Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electronics majoring in Robotics and Automation' by MMU, October 2011 Intake. Please tell me more about it. How is it different to the regular Electrical Engineering course and is the first year same as Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. I mean so that i accept the offer now and later get into another course like Electrical or Mechanical for the Second Year.

Thanks

I am student from Inti college subang jaya now. Planning to take my degree in accounting at MMU because i did some research and knew that study degree in MMU can straight away become a member of MIA after 3years of working experience. But i have fewer questions that i would like to know. Can anyone pls help and give some suggestion to me?

1) I have my diploma, do i still need to take another 4years for degree in accounting? dont have any exemptions?

2) If have exemptions, still left how many years for my degree? It cost how much in total?

3) Can PTPTN fully cover the cost? (Personal finance not really good)

4) What is the benefits to become a member of MIA?

5) After graduate my degree, where can continue another 5 papers? Cannot study for another 5 paper part timely?

Added on July 28, 2011, 11:38 amOne more question, Degree in Accounting only available at MMU Malacca?

hi...i think most of the subject are the same..maybe one or two is different. if u change into other major on the 2nd year, you will have to take the subject that you dont have for the major u wanted to take.

so it is much more better if u do more research on these two major and decide which one you want the most...even you are offered something else, you can always appeal to the administration for other major

First of all, Im not from management side, so im not able to answer all your questions

1 and 2, i think it is better for u to call up the administration and ank them

3) for PTPTN, they can cover the full course if your family income is below the specific pay.

4)no idea

5) you can continue it anywhere...i heard sumway is offering part time for the last 5 papers

MMU cyberjaya have accounting

Hello, I had a few questions reagarding mmu and cyberjaya:

1) Is taking the foundation year necessary for creative multimedia courses.

2) What is the average age of students in Alpha level ( I would hate to be the old one there).

3) I want to study a course that focuses on Action script, character and terrain designing and website designing, out of the courses offered which ones do you think will better suit my demand. I plan on going into game development, but I am more interested in flash based games and in starting my own site. So please recommend.

4) How is the food around cyberjaya (cost and quality).

5) Are there many students from Pakistan and India in cyberjaya.

6) How are the hostels and how are the people that we have to share a room with selected.

7) How strict is the administration at cyberjaya.

8) Also are the malaysian people (university aged) conservative or liberal in general.

1) it is a must.

2) the normal age is 18-19, but there are some as old as 20++...dont feel bad even thou you are old, age is not a barrier for education

3)then going to Faculty of Creative Multimedia is a wrong decision...going to Faculty of Info Tech taking the major Software Engineering and Game Design is a much better choice. MMU's course(Info Tech oni,not sure with others) range is very wide, for example, you are taking game design, but you will not only focus on flash and creating games, you will also learn how to code and also on networking and databases, so when you graduate you are able to work in any field.

4) cost ,cheapest can go is rm4, highest is 20++. not sure how to comment on the quality.

5)pakistan a lot..indian i dont think theres any.

6) how are the people much depends on your luck really..haha
the hostel is okay, but for my opinion, the toilet sux

7) not really strict..its up to their mood.. but they are strict with smoking and alcoholic beverages

8)it depends on individual..but most of them are conservative

Can, I always pay using CC at the finance counter. In fact, that is the most convenient way of paying bill IMO.
