I took Mandarin during Beta. It's not that easy, but the lecturer is very very nice and she helps students a lot. So, passing is not a problem.

This is my final year in diploma in business adminstration and i plan to further my study to degree level..

See im interested in economics and there is economics subject offered in cyberjaya campus. Im having problem in choosing between.

The subject offered is
1. Knowledge Economics
2. Analytical Economics

I consult with my academic advisor before and she pointed out that Knowledge economics is more to multimedia while Analytical is more to mathematical application.. She said that these courses is quite new and better if i go and ask seniors.

Im really really interested in economics but sadly my maths NO GOOD and i dont really like multimedia thingys..

So is there any senior doing these courses ma? boleh briefly tell whats the course is about.. thankiu !

what kind of academic advisor is that? new course, yet consult seniors? perhaps you should head to FBL/FOM and speak to the economics lecturers for more info.

Regarding to the uk uni, you will have to refer to the UK uni as diff uni got diff requirements, but im sure u will need TOFEL or IELTS...

its true, but not the standard..the standard is the same, just the course structure is different.

for FIT/FIST, subject is more to theory, you can be spontanious..
for FOE/FIT, everything is about memorizing the formula and tweak it accordingly to the question.

the trend is so obvious..

those who fail FOE/FET
will join
FIT/FIST or FOM/FBL or FCM

those who fail FIT/FIST
will join FOM/FBl or FCM

this trend will never change

both are pretty much the same thing. you will be exposed to both IT and also mathematical question anyhow, just the matter of which is more only.

my recommendation is to get advice from the program coordinator directly..

Hello to all seniors and juniors of MMU,

I have been following this thread for awhile and decided to hop on the MMU band wagon. Received my offer letter last week, and now am all set to attend MMU Cyberjaya next month. AM stoink to be counting the days for orientation day, but most importantly I can't wait to attend classes again. Just felt the need to shout out, sorry if I was out of line.

you are getting it wrong. already start thinking about changing the course and preparing safety net BEFORE even starting the course research, compare, decide..and just do it and make it happen.

i wanted to study in MMU so much, but i got rejected because my trial result doesnt meet requirement.

I oni have 4 credit while it required min 5.

Can all the senior here suggest me a way to be admitted to mmu?
I heard that ppl do register on the 1st day of class.....does that works???

OMG mmu staff so rude!! I call for 32 times but nobody pickup. When finally someone answer it, I ask so nicely can I send my documents 2 days late as I just got my letter. Know what she did???

She just said "Ah hantar masa register je." And she just hung up. OMG I'm so mad. I can't even ask about hostel and stuff. If I give my documents on registration day how can they process it! The letter state that I need to give the hostel applicatication form 7 days before registration.

I'm not going to call them back coz waiting for them to answer it already waste my time and being treated so rudely make me so piss off!!

Well, lucky you are calling so the person in charge is not able to punch you You might as well ask here, I'm sure someone may assist you.

Same thing happen to me as well. I've called wanting to ask them about a few stuff, but nobody didn't bother to pick up. After spending the whole morning staring at my cell phone, I pack my stuff, set my GPS (since I'm from Sabah and don't really know Selangor that well) and drive the car to MMU to ask them directly.

At least when I met them face to face, they where friendly.
