QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ May 12 2011, 10:01 AM) Hi, I think it doesnt matter, unless this is updated with our country. http://www.google.com/support/androidmarke...y?answer=150324then our local Android Devs can Sell apps as well. at the moment, we cant. Added on May 12, 2011, 10:19 amQUOTE(ohmlawx @ May 12 2011, 10:11 AM) can we use maybank atm card (with debit visa card)?? Sorry, but I don't think it can be done with an atm card.. I may be wrong. Anyone can confirm or say otherwise? This post has been edited by xavier7: May 12 2011, 10:19 AM

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ May 12 2011, 10:18 AM) Oh ya ka? Coz I can't open the link that he posted. Then I scoured the net and found another link. lol sorry for the blunder. But if Devs can distribute paid apps in our country, it should also mean our country's users can buy them, right? Anyway, annoyed that the prices in Market is in USD. Buying in dollars still feels expensive. No worries mate The one I bought is in Yen though. But I believe it's actually an advantage if you buy in USD (given the strong MYR now)

Hrmm found the link that shows paid apps availability, instead of the dev shenanigans: http://www.google.com/support/androidmarke...n&answer=143779Weirdly enough, I found that the topic number is the same as TS posted, but one hosted on market.android, and another in google.com/support/androidmarket Anyway, my intention is to provide a working link, as me myself is looking for hard evidence for this thing as well. Sorry if I flooded the thread with unnecessary posts. This post has been edited by DJFoo000: May 12 2011, 10:26 AM

Ok let's celebrate by buying at least 1 app/game each. Let Google know that this move is worthwhile

Anyone kind enough to provide what is needed and the steps to go through to properly set up the google account for apps purchasing? Like google checkout procedures and stuff, with regards to the malaysian users.

Hmm, you need to add a credit card to Google Checkout (using the very same GMail account you use for market access) https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogi...aten2vNf-WlLXMgIf you don't fancy doing it via PC, you should be able to do it via phone when you purchase the app Then enjoy!
