» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 0. Backup your apps because they will all be erased Titanium Backup is a good app for that, but not the only one. 1. Download these files 1.1 I9000 users (Galaxy S): - Ficeto_JVH_I9000_Odin: [Multiupload] or [Torrent] (unless you're already running a Ficeto_JVH ROM installed properly) - DarkyROM_v10.1: [Multiupload] and put it in your /sdcard 1.2 I897 users (Captivate): - Ficeto_JVH_I897_Odin: [Multiupload] or [Torrent] (unless you're already running a Ficeto_JVH ROM installed properly) - DarkyROM_v10.1: [Multiupload] and put it in your /sdcard 2. Flash Ficeto_JVH_Odin ROM - you may skip and go straight to [3.] if you are already running Ficeto JVH ROM If you have Kies installed in your pc close it. Kill also the background process in the icon tray. If Odin doesn't recognise your phone when you plug it, try all the USB ports in your pc until it works. Note that for some people Odin 1.7 isn't working well on Windows 7 64bits (flashing often fails), so it might be safer to use Odin 1.3 instead in case you have a problem. - Unzip Ficeto_Deodexed_JVH_I9000_ODIN.zip (Captivate users should read I897 instead of I9000) - Open Odin - For PIT select \Ficeto_Deodexed_JVH_I9000_ODIN\s1_odin_20100512.pit - For PDA select \Ficeto_Deodexed_JVH_I9000_ODIN\Ficeto_Deodexed_JVH_I9000.tar - Again, if your phone is a Captivate your files will show I897 instead of I9000 - Make sure Odin isn't picking a previous .tar file: sometimes it points to an old destination by default so check the path and the name of the files! - Tick Re-partition - Don't change anything else - Reboot the phone in Download mode: long-press the power menu, find the option in the extended power menu and wait until the yellow screen appears or use the 3-button combo technique: power off and boot holding VOLUME DOWN + POWER + HOME together until the screen with the yellow picture appears, then release all buttons. - Plug the phone to the PC, check it writes "Added!" like in this picture (if it doesn't, try a different USB port): - Click on Start - Wait until it boots by itself, Odin should be like in the picture below - Unplug guys, i do it until that procedure, then i try to reboot my sgs...till now, it stay like that at galaxy s logo...
