Owh Samfirmware still updating froyo 2.2.1. Hmm..I think, I need to try I9000XWJSD. Hopefully the simply galaxy 2.7 XE is compatible with this firmware.

Have anyone try the "Allcallrecorder" and "Totol Recall" apps on Gingerbread JVO? OK or not?

I've downloaded the Camera Galaxy S II.zip. Can I install it or not on Froyo 2.2.1?

Hi guys... my SGS was flashed to ginger 2.3.3 JVB before and i decided to downgrade back to Darky 9.5 froyo.. i've done my sms backup ([SMS/MMS/APN] Dialer Storage 2.3.3 & [SMS/MMS PREFS] Messaging 2.3.3) using the titanium backup... however i kept getting force closed for my message and contacts after successfully downgrade to darky's and done the backup restore.. is this expected? now im stuck back with ginger.. can u guys recommend me any good ROMs for ginger?

I've experienced it and I've warning about it before at V16 thread and I've ask to put the warning to 1st page. With Titanium Backup, restoring the system file (or data only) like contact and SMS/MMS from froyo to gingerbread ok, but restore from gingerbread to froyo will give u force closed. So, for contact and SMS/MMS, u need to backup by other way like using gmail etc.

BTW, wellcome back to Froyo. rclxms.gif

Ya i think its a good point to post up in the front page... as the thread is super long and hard to dig it lol.. Im not in froyo now hahah.. now im with Darky's 10 RC6 ROM.. from my experience, gingerbread gave me the best battery consumption and fixed my gps problem.. just wanna flash back to darky 9.5 because of the eye candy.. my fren got his new desire hd and i've been provoked by his Sense ui.. mad.gif .. blush.gif ..

Froyo 2.2.1 starting from XWJS8, i think it have a good battery consumption. I always can reach more than a day and sometimes more than two days without heavy usage.

For the gps problem, I think, I can solve it by getting the gingerbread modem and flash it to froyo. Or the gingerbread firmware itself have the solution for the gps problem?

Now I use XXJVO modem on my Froyo XWJS8. Erm..thinking to flash to XWJSD with XXJVO modem. Is it compatible with Simply Galaxy 2.7 XE? Has anyone try it?
