I remember I have Hanzi, Pinyin or English on my keyboard when I was on Darky V9.5. But now I upgrade to Darky V10.1 and realise the chinese imput is not there. Maybe its the chinese dictionary I installed call Hanping Chinese Dictionary Pro v2.4.1 which installed the chinese support inot the keyboard?

Can someone try install Hanping Chinese Dictionary and see if it does add chinese input to the keyboard.

I cannot try it myself because I am offshore right now and don't have any wifi and 3g which is required by Hanping Chinese Dictionary to download the dictionary files.

Deodexed stock DXJV9 with speedmod + sd-booster = superb. so far i do not have any issue on battery drain, i would say as good as froyo 2.2.1

Now testing custom rom "eRobot" based on DXJV9, so far so good, battery life is yet to conclude.

in my time of using stock deodexed DXJV9, i never encounter any "android os" battery drain.

1. Exchange mail (50-100 mails)
2. Gmail (around 20)
3. whatsapp (around 20)
4. Gtalk (around 20)
5. minor surfing on 3G (10-15 minutes)
6. minor gaming (15-20 minutes)
7. always on 2G (when required 3G will be used)
8. voice (10-15 minutes)
9. SMS (around 20)
10. Speedmod 15h-T4 (EXT4)
11. Sd-Booster (cache 768)

Unplug from full charge around 930AM, 65% around 8PM. With the above mentioned usage, i would say it is as good as froyo.

half of the community are lucky while other half are not, some say depend on kernel, some say cause of the bloatware.

Is this where you download the Deodexed stock DXJV9?
Link

What is this first part do?
1: You need to have a copy of the files on /efs partition of the device, to do so then your device must be rooted, have busybox installed and have ADB installed on your PC, then execute the following in Command prompt:

cd c:/your_ADB_directory_name/platform-tools (Use cd c:/your_ADB_directory_name/tools if you are using an older ADK versions)
adb shell
su
cp -r /efs /sdcard/efs
exit
exit

Move the copy of the efs folder from the internal sdcard to your PC and keep it safe, you never know when flashing, do it now if you haven't done that yet.

Do I need to have busybox install to run this Deodexed rom?

That is the ADB way of backing up your efs folder (efs folder stores your IMEI information). There are other simpler ways to get this done, by using SGS Tools or just simply copy and paste using root explorer.

1. flash stock DXJV9 with bootloader
2. flash Speedmod
3. copy deodexed DXJV9 into sdcard
4. go to recovery, wipe data/factory reset
5. flash the deodexed DXJV9
6. let it boot up
7. flash speedmod again because previous flash will overwrite it
8. go to recovery, change RFS to EXT4

that's all

Does stock DXJV9 with speedmod kernel has problems? I guess deodexed one is for customizing right?
