i know this question may be asked before
just asking again all sifu, which 1 is better? in terms of accuracy

core temp shows lower temp than hardware monitor
i think i read somewhere before core temp is more accurate
n core temp can combine w win7 widget cpu meter (i tot it would be nice, see pic)

but hw monitor provide history (min n max)
hw monitor cannot hide to tray (unless pro version or 3rd party version hw mon tray)

ok so back to topic, which 1 is better in overall? accuracy?

The accuracy depend on your CPU thermal sensor too, for example the Thermal Sensor on AMD Thuban CPU is reportedly 10~15 Celsius off, in other words the temp is colder than ambient temp when idle, LOL. which it need to be calibrated on Core Temp.
hwmonitor get the reading from TMPINx from mobo iirc, so abit more reliable.

You can ask back in the same thread, there's no need to open another thread for it. Thread closed
