Usually from what i heard, babies from 6 months old and above will start to teeth

yet, my kid is getting cranky lately i saw 2 front teeth at the bottom starts to come out. He's 2 months plus, 3 months this week. Is that normal?

i've checked babycenter site and i see most of them also say that their babies starts teething at 3 months.

could it be because there's too much calcium intake thus forcing the babies to teeth earlier than expected? if yes, then that means too much calcium intake is not good as it'll harden the skull faster, limiting the brain's growth?

Our baby is going 6 months this week. He has his first 2 teeth at the bottom gum popping out on the 4 month. Development stages described in babycenter seem pretty accurate.

Nothing to worry about but baby will be drooling a lot as they have not learn how to swallow their saliva. The drooling will be lesser when they start eating solids at about 6 months of age. When they are served with the spoon, they will use their tongue and swallow, this is when they learn to swallow their saliva too.

Hi,

My baby 4months now. He is also getting teeth. Whining a lot and very fussy unlike usual. Also I think he's in pain... Anyone can tell me how to ease baby's teething pain?

I tried to put a warm wash cloth inside his mouth and rub the gums, but it only works for a short while...

Thanks

base on the study of medical baby first teeth start around 3rd month is very common. in fact should start to teach them hygiene to brush their teeth.

please do not use any tooth paste with fluoride, if not next time the teeth will have bad teeth. only adult need fluoride.

You should be proud with your baby. He is more advanced and learning fast. My baby even start teething 2 months same like your situation.

Now he is 2 years old and healthy boy.

this 2 nights my baby has been waking up and turning and tossing. We need to pat her to go back to sleep.

i spotted on lower central white spot and i am wondering is this due to teething?

Before that she can sleep for 8-10 hours straight at night.

My baby also getting cranky in the nights due to Teething (He's almost 5 months now). so difficult to sleep... cry.gif

I feel so sorry for him also cos he bites and sucks on everything he can get his hands on to relieve the pain I guess...

Last night he was crying continuously and I carried him to soothe him, and the next minute he turned towards me and started sucking my chin he he poor thing...

Finally I managed to calm him down by rubbing a warm wash cloth on his gums... icon_idea.gif
