i'm using tp-link TL-MR3420 to connect my ps3 online..it is 3g router..why i can't play on9 black-ops..whenever i try to connect my psn..it said downloading game setting and after a while got error message said server problem

You can restart your router and try it again..

Is this like some p1 wifi? Or maxis/celcom 3g broadband? From what I hear from users, those connections can't be used for bo --- too laggy, which woud explain why it's stuck @ 'downloading game settings'. Sorry bro.

How do you add someone as your fren?

I mean if a fren gives me his PSN account name, rather then adding them while your playing a match in the game itself.

Also is there a way to send messages or is it only voice chat?

I am wondering whether I should buy Black Ops. I am using a Malaysian PSN ID and am mainly buying it for online multiplayer. Is the internet lag manageable? Does the game itself lag/glitch? Because I'm hearing that it does from various sources (Reviews and whatnot). Have the problems been fixed by the patches? I play NFS Hot Pursuit just fine online. I just don't want to waste money. Thanks in advance.

im using 512kb and im getting 3/4 bars most of the time on BO.

whao. i use 4mb steamyx and get 3 bars the most if i play with japanese. if play with malaysian then will hit 4 bars la.

well for me i off every other device thats using the internet at home before playing.

Most of the time i will get 3 bars, 4 bars with asians. 1 bar with gay host

Im in singapore and i usually get 3 bars and so far so good. Quite addicted to the game since i play it once i come back from work for an hour or 2.

Too bad i stuck playing DM, TDM and freeforall.

Havent tried the other modes yet.
