Just to make something clear.. R1R is not semi slicks..they are extreme performance tyres..they are step down from Semi slicks..similarly to 595RSR But of course as you go up the range of performance tyre, the handling in wet will slowly go down.. I've driven the R1R before (fronts only)..I drove from KL to Perak..and after tracking out..I drove up to Gohtong and back down to KL (all teh way raining) I can say..I didn't dare to go above 80kmh The tread as I reached KL was about 30% I think

QUOTE(WilliamHoo @ Jul 23 2012, 12:34 PM) Federal 595 RS-R My findings Semi-slick designExtreme dry grip Good Wet grip Can last ± 28k km (which is very impressive) Tyre shoulder wore out faster Please advise Anyone using this tyre? Considerably Cheap No offense bro..but RSR still not semi slicks..Extreme tyres..that's why still road legal.. More info hereI'm also looking forward to these tyres..but 205/45/16 is about 500/pc last quoted in ZTH @_@

QUOTE(WilliamHoo @ Jul 23 2012, 04:43 PM) Compared a lot alot of tyres jorr Might 99% jumping for Federal 595 RS-R The best performance for money Tyre King of Sports Wooohooooo Comparison with R888 R1R T1R PS3 Added on July 23, 2012, 4:45 pmMadman Izzit da wisest choice??? Ride - Inspira 1.8MT Usual Road - Genting Hahaha Added on July 23, 2012, 4:45 pmMadman Izzit da wisest choice??? Ride - Inspira 1.8MT Usual Road - Genting Hahaha I can't say much..lol..haven't used any of the 4 tyres you mentioned.. I've only used R1R (2nd hand) at the fronts only at Dato Sagor track.. I guess the all rounder is the PS3? More durable..definitely can't go near the R888, a step lower than the R1R.. I'm guessing the PS3 and T1R is within the same class..but I'd go for the PS3 But don't take my words for it..hahahaha xD

QUOTE(WilliamHoo @ Jul 23 2012, 05:00 PM) But the PS3 pricing is a Killer Look at it at a different point of view.. All rounder in terms of grip, durability Or Awesome Grip in dry, low treadwear, low wet-grip

QUOTE(WilliamHoo @ Jul 23 2012, 08:21 PM) My findings show Federal rsr threadwear rated 140 But can last 28k km Good enuf if dry grip is better than ps3 Yeap..140.. Extreme tyres treadwear is between 140-160+- range As for semi-slicks..they are below 100 ratings (depends on the type of compounds) Theoratically possible for 28k..I guess? Haven't tested it personally yet =P
