Hay guise..

First time posting here.

I need some help on tyre recommendation.

Driving a MB B170 with 17" stock rims. Tyre size is 215/45/R17.

Daily drive around 45km. Uncle driving style although im 26 this year.

Any tire to recommend? I like TOYO T1R.

Got any tire that is good and cheaper?

hi sifu-sifu
im seeking for your advices
currently using 215/45/17 hankook v12
highway driving once a month
50% uncle driving, 40% normal driving and 10% spirited driving
Budget rm400 each tyre

i think i may not need an UHP tyre and should go for more comfort and less bumpy set (of coz, hope not to compromise too much on performance also lar..)

in my mind, yoko advan db is the best but out of my budget sad.gif
besides, im thinking of
hankook v2,
cdrive 2,
the new primacy 3st but may over my budget,
GY efficientgrip

which 1 suit me most or did i miss out any other tyre which suit me?

thank you in advance
*
we have same tyre profile and same driving style.

currently im eyeing Continental ContiMaxContact 5, ContiSportContact 3 and Michelin PilotSport 3.

i never use those tyres and planning to use them one set from those 3 brands and models.

still in the midst of comparing.

in terms of budget, i think Contis hovering around your budget, but PS3 around 470-480, last time i checked.

Hi guys,

Need some recommendation since I'm a bit new into tyres and cars in general. I'm using Perodua Myvi , and just thinking of changing my tires since old one worn out already. I am using 15 inch rims, and currently using Bridgestone Turanza ER30 195/55/15.

Currently looking at Falken ZE912 , but need opinions from the gurus here on this claim.

I seldom use the car since going to work using bike, but will drive long distance sometimes. Sometimes i am quite a heavy footer. I need tires that can last quite long just like my Bridgestone, and good grip in dry and wet..

Currently staying at Pantai Dalam..if can get good tyre shop nearby would be nice..

mostly i saw peolpe using Continental ContiComfortContact on myvi. maybe because that is the OE tyres.

i dont know about the thread wear though.

1. Bridgestone Turanza ER30
-currently using, quite well for me but I heard that this model are no longer producing...

2. Falken ZE912
-read about is, quite good review and not so expensive..

2. Continental ContiConfortContact
-what most ppl buy for myvi, which I wonder why..could somebody enlighten me? smile.gif

try open up option for hankook too.

my father use hankook, and sometimes i drive his car.

i can tell u the comfort and noise is quite impressive.

plus, the thread are more thicker compared to other brands and models.

visit any hankook tyres dealers to learn more about the tyre physically.

anwyay, im using GY ASY2 on my car.

My GYF1 A2 already 43k and 48k respectively, still looking good.

Is it normal?

Hopefully can last at least until 60k km both.

how does yours looks like?

Mine already 48.5k and 55k KM.

I can say our thread looks the same. Can see the 'sen' word on new 10 sen coin.

I rotate them every 12k KM after i done my regular service.

Tyre man said can up to one year more. Tyre age around 2-3 years.

I am using RE003.

Usually max 130 km/h on daytime using North South Highways. But morning at 70-80 clear night 110.

But rain I tried 100-110 km/h still give really good grip. Just like at dry road. Hit puddle of water estimate <10 cm deep at 70 km/h. The car really shake, I mean, the steering so move to left for less than 1 sec and manage to control. Is that known as aquaplaning? I still a quite new driver.... and noob on tyre too....

edit - 1955515 vios 08.

I did slow down until 90km/h lah. It's mentioned up there

[attachmentid=5329333]

Yea..maybe i read wrongly

> speed 120kmh
> climbing slope with curves
> counter steering
> slowdown to 90kmh

Slow down after it happened. Thats why i ask. Nevermind, all in all u are safe.
