Just changed all my Silverstone M3 to Continental CC5 today. Tyre alone RM150/pcs, plus alignment, camber and balancing total Rm665. Stock size 175/70R13. (No money for new rim tongue.gif )

1st impression, silent on rough road, acceptable noise in extremely rough road. All around noise 50% lower than those damn M3. Little harder compare to M3, maybe the shop pump too much inside my new tyre. Tmr will check at fuel station.

Will keep evaluate on this tyres especially in wet condition. My opinion, worth it price. thumbup.gif

Ya bro, comfort tyre should be used in that way, this one i think we must know about that. So as long as it provide enough grip for normal driving then is ok for me adi.

Manufacturer? You mean Conti or car manufacturer? i think i will pump front 220, rear 200 (Proton recommendation F210 R190)

that one you seen on the proton door side.
your tires pressure is fine. perhaps, you need to wait a little longer until the tires fully run-in.

on the earlier reply, i posted the basic method to identify if it was the wheel bearing that caused the noise.
anyway, to be more detailed, how old is your car? was your ride tend to be quite bumpy lately?
since car is not around, kinda hard to pinpoint the reason. am not a mechanic either. just sharing a knowledge.

if it was the wheel bearing problem, the humming sound will be noticeable even at 30km/h.
other than wheel bearing. worn out or hardened lower arm bushes may caused the humming sound.
your engine mounting is fine?

Hoho, yesterday checked tyre pressure at fuel station, the tyre shop pump 250kpa for each tyre, thats why feel bumpy like hell doh.gif ...after that i release the pressure until 10kpa more than my car recommended, what i feel is truely soft and silent tyre. thumbup.gif
