QUOTE(ronzai89 @ May 24 2012, 09:23 AM) hmm.... bro, u can try hankook s1 evo perhaps thread pattern might look tame but there is hidden secrets beneath it Hi all, Going to change my tyres this Saturday at Klang... Called the shop for the price.. 205/40/17 Hankook S1 Evo.. RM 285 per tyre!! So damn cheap compared to the price I bought last year for RM 300 each.. I asked whether there is S1 Evo 2 for sale... He said don't have and never heard of it.. Any shops in PJ / KL / Klang have S1 Evo 2 for sale? Planning change all 4 tyres if it is RM 285 per tyre.. I have been using S1 Evo for 2 years... Damn good for the price.. The thread is damn "ganas" as well

Anyone using Roadstone SU1? Heard it's quite good.. it's actually Nexen brand..
The tyre shop at Klang quoted me RM 230 each for 205/40/17.. cheap considering it's UHP tyre?

I am currently using 215/40/17.. i plan to change new tyres..
I used the tyre calculator. It seems like i cant use 215/45/17 as it's 3.4% variance..
215/40/17 range doesn't have many tyre choices compared to 215/45/17. What other range i can use which has many tyre choices?

QUOTE(arshad @ Dec 2 2015, 09:04 PM) Ad08r but it's semi-slick. Read so many good reviews on this tyre.. Good in dry but so so in wet.. wear rate also very high.. If price difference rm 50 per tyre, ok lah... so much difference

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Dec 4 2015, 10:49 PM) AD08R is not yet semi slick but extreme category, still decent in the wet as trade off for very strong grip in the dry. A048 or A050 are semi slicks. Of the choices above, I'd pick F1-D5 as that's a much better value for money than the others. I had used this tires for 3.5yrs/>50k km before I changed and pretty satisfied with it but it can get chipped quite a lot when driven hard. Thanks for your review bro. I'm changing to f1 d5 tomorrow.. s drive review is so so only for that price

QUOTE(arshad @ Dec 5 2015, 12:35 AM) If have ps3 even better as I am currently using it for my other ride.. no regrets But too bad the tyre shop doesn't have this size for ps3. Probably 215/45/17 is a more popular tyre size for tyre choices .. 215/40/17 is not a common size
