I was planning to lowered my ride with the higher profile tyre. So tat the comfort level will not b too rough.

bad train of thought. if comfort is your priority, please forget about lowering the car unless you're gonna invest in good spring/absorbers or adjustable (easily minimum of 2-3k ringgit even on basic proton rides)

Which kind of the spring/absorber is better for lowered in terms of not sacrifice too much comfort? hmm.gif

much depend on your preference. c1s has a stiffer sidewall and harder material. this explained the
higher treadwear rating compare to t1r. comfort goes to t1r.
drove a friend's car fitted with c1s and aquaplaning is quite bad. the deep grooves tend to produce whining sound. then again, the treadwear is already around 60%. no idea about the noise level when new though.

Hi guys,

I currently own a persona running on 2 Hankook Blackbird V2 tyres and 2 goodyear tyres (forgot the model cos I'm going to replace them).

Which tyres should I replace the Goodyear tyres with? So far the options that I've had are (all running 195/60/15)

1. Continental CC5
2. Yokohama C Drive 2
3. Michelin XM2 (Expensive!)
4. Neuton NT3000
5. Back to the same Hankook Blackbird V2

The hard part is I don't know how to express my driving style. It's a balance between aggresive cornering/accelerating and cruising drive depending on my mood sweat.gif .

I guess the best all rounder tyre would be my best bet.

Thanks in advance.

try to skip falken ze-912 if possible....

terrible!

hydro-plan massively...

be it for small vehicle or mpv.

even with high treadwear, it wears out too fast...
