Curios question,

Am driving a benz eclass w212 and recently notice that my car is getting louder and louder due to tyres grinding road..check somewhere in mb forums, they say the eclass normally have 3 tyres..michelin, bridgestone and continental.. mine comes with the michelin.

According to what they say, michelin is the best for this model. but am looking for something to reduce the noise..any tyre that i should be looking at?
*
lol...not necessary the 3 manufacturer. Dunlop, Falken, Yokohama and even Nexen are all there for a reason.
Cheap offering from Bridgestone and Continental can be as bad as China made tyres in term of grip.
Since you want comfort, XM2 or CC5 looks the part. Just no spirited driving.

Dear all, after my tire change, my steering wheel becomes noticeably lighter..is this normal? Changed from 195/55/15 to 195/50/15..
*
Normal la bro. thinner sidewall give better steering feedback. Tyre also become lighter and less flex ma. Now you can touge much closer to the road barrier already biggrin.gif

Tried XM2 not bad, How is it compare to CC5 and any other recommendation? Yokohama? Bridgestone? I want a comfortable and quiet ride.

CC5 sidewall's is too soft already. Can feel the flexing also. Yokohama Decibel range I think okay la.
A.Drive is like CC5 also. C.Drive2 not as quiet as XM2. Bridgestone range I only know the performance
range so I have no idea about comfort range.
Michelin PS3 also worth a look.

C drive 2 sidewall is around the same softness if not even softer than cc 5. a drive is yokohama's basic tire so comfort/nvh wise can't compare to cc5.
overall c drive 2 will beat xm2 in comfort/nvh as xm2's nvh worsen after 30-40% tread usage. c drive2 remains quite consistent with the comfort/nvh although it doesn't last as long as xm2 (definitely doesn't cost as much as xm2 though)

Hi guys, need some recommendations. I need to change all four of my tyres. My current tyre is Silverstone NS 5000 kruizer. Can anyone recommend me a new set. Current tyre size 195/60/15. I also in a tight budget. Thanks!

Maybe around RM 200 - RM 230 per tyre. I saw CC5 is in my budget. Can anyone recommend me others? icon_question.gif notworthy.gif

I might go for longer tire treadwear. at least can hold on longer. Means CC5 have better treadwear than Yokohama? blink.gif

ns5000 basic tire, cc5 comfort tire, so at least cc5 is good in something. so yes, it is better.
