QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 8 2011, 07:45 AM) It gets hot when on load, most laptops do.... Constant web surfing is not considered as "load" to a laptop nowadays haha Added on July 8, 2011, 7:46 amThanks for reminding bro Anyway, are you asking or just suggesting? haha For your laptop, its either Asus U41sv or Acer TimelineX 4830Tg Sorry about that man! haha! Anyway i took a look at the models you suggested, what if: 1. Brand - any 2. Budget - 1.5 - 2.5k 3. Specs - non-gaming, college use, long battery life 4. Size - 14 inch Budget got tighter...>.< if 2k also ok... One more thing, is i3 processor sufficient if it is not for gaming, only using it for college work, movies, and browsing?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 10 2011, 06:01 PM) If want lightweight, then its Acer TimelineX 4830Tg... Others are relatively heavier Reasons? Good looks, light, and long battery lives okay...what if, weight not an issue?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 11 2011, 07:40 AM) If weight and battery life is not an issue: Asus A43Sv, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M(1GB)@RM2349[2.44kg], [6-cell 4400mAH] A43Sv, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M(2GB)@RM2599[2.44kg], [6-cell 5200mAH] A43Sv, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M@RM2999[2.44kg] N43SL, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2699[2.4kg][Bang & Olufsen] *No USB3.0 N43SL (Jay-Chou edition), i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2799[Bang & Olufsen], *USB3.0, Colors: Gold/Red is it very hard to get a good battery life laptop? What about Asus UL and U series? Sorry for asking so much >.< This post has been edited by next2fate: Jul 11 2011, 12:55 PM

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jul 11 2011, 01:45 PM) Err... we only recommend laptops based on your budget? Iirc, your budget is RM2k right? U series is around RM2.8k, whereas UL series is no longer available here in Malaysia Added on July 11, 2011, 1:47 pmMy vote goes to Asus as well because of the standard 2 years international warranty Either Asus A42Jz, P6200 + AMD HD6470@RM1599[2.2kg] Asus K43U, AMD E-350 + AMD HD6310@RM1399[2.6kg], W7S, [6-cell 5200mAH] will do *Do take note that in other countries, they're A series = K series vice versa Wow so expensive ah that series...so with a budget of around 2k, my choices that little?
