I looking for a portable netbook.
Basically just for documentation work and multimedia (Surf web of course)

I confuse between choosing
HP DM1
Acer W500
Asus 1215B
Thinkpad edge 11 (Over budget)

Is it worth for me to trade in my old laptop Asus A52J because i tired to carry arround the campus. It was too heavy and bulky.

Hope any sifu can give some advice.

May i ask downgrade from Asus A52JR i3 model to HP DM1 is a bad idea?
How come some many tell me it is a bad idea?

May need sifu give me some suggest should i change?

For portable and light weight. I would like to bring to campus but the 15.6 inch is too large.

Use for edit word and excel and multimedia.

Gaming is not a option as i usually go CC play.

My budget is 1500 only as i just want a light weight netbook to carry around.

I found about 12inch only HP DM1 suit my budget. AsusEEE PC? Atom?

Last day i went to lowyat they tell me the asus 1215b has discontinue already wor.
