I'm considering between this 2, but just now I went to survey price, and a boss told me recently Toshiba had "A"/"water" stock issue.. this make me worried.. rclxub.gif
And I was told tat from another shop, able to get Satellite L755-1009X at RM2350.. is tat possible? or tat will be "A"/"water" stock?  rclxub.gif

The price of the Toshiba is reasonable nod.gif no problems there laugh.gif
I only know there are refurbished laptops for all brands.... but then if you get your laptop from a sealed box, and warranty is okay, then its ori laugh.gif

need laptop suggestion..somewhere around 2k, use for work and travel around to show customers slideshow and web pages from internet cuz doing internet marketing...

so battery life must be powerful and very good internet connection receiver...

or should i actually consider ipad2? not big fan of apple tho..

Or is it more wortwhile to get an extra battery for my desired lappy then I won't have battery issue?

Preferred screen size? hmm.gif

looking for a 15" laptop <2k...any recommendations ?
*
Apart from the ones suggested by fJok3R, can consider this one as well:
MSI
CR650X, AMD E350 + AMD HD6310@RM1299, FreeDOS, McAfee (3 users)
CR650, AMD E350 + AMD HD6310@RM1399, W7S, McAfee (3 users)

Otherwise, I would recommend going for Asus A53Sv or Vostro 3350 smile.gif

how about asus transformer + dock...? vs hp dm1z? lols sorry for being picky

but already have android smartphone
*
Err.... it depends on what you're going to use the laptop for lo...
the Eee Pad Transformer works well if you're only using the laptop for surfing and some minor office documents nod.gif
Other than that, getting Windows will be better

Don't wait for that...endless waiting. Many forumer opt for other choices like dm1z, m102z or even the sony vaio y. But for me, i will go for m102z since the price drop ord.
*
The Dell M102z, despite the glossy appearance, has the upper hand because of the 7,200rpm HDD smile.gif

is there any upgrade to the normal spec for m102 before i ask for quote? like the hard disk or stuff like that? other than the 9 cell battery

and i dont understand how to use his service as i dont see any value code?
*
You can customize the components you want, then you just send the overall specs for viper88. He'll help you purchase (probably with staff price, that's why less expensive) after you've transferred your money to him...
Then you'll get your item/ customer code. Then just wait for delivery lo laugh.gif
Already bought 2 Dells from him, trusted seller rclxms.gif

so is m102z price at RM1636 ok? 9 cell battery and extra accidental damage warranty add on.
*
Well, you should try calling on online chatting with Dell sales agents, they can give discounts as well, and some are really good discounts thumbup.gif

how does k43u score compare with dell m102z and hp dm1?
*
More or less similar specs, but only larger in size- less portable and shorter battery life nod.gif
It should be cooler... but I'm not too sure about the HDD rpm, might want to ask users about that

Should i sell my flyer to get a new laptop? Currently using 5920g as well.
*
HTC Flyer? shocking.gif
Many ppl are aiming for that one haha, should have 2nd hand value laugh.gif
But whether you should sell or not depends on whether you need a laptop rather than a tablet?

Acer TimelineX 3830Tg if you can find nod.gif But then it can get quite hot....

Otherwise, you might want to consider 14" ones...

hi guys, need advice here;

wanted to buy a light laptop (preferably ~1.5kg), at least i3 processor, budget ~3k. Found 11.6 inch bit small for me, best is 13.3, unsure abt 12.1 then.

will use the laptop for surfing nets most of the time, do some office work...may i know what options do i have here?

thx!  tongue.gif

13" at 1.5kg is not easy to find haha laugh.gif
Closest would be Toshiba's Portégé R830, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM3379(Hikari85)[1.4kg], W7P, 2nd & 3rd year international warranty, Microsoft Office Home & Student 2010; colors: Black/Red/Blue

If weight is not an issue, can consider these:
Asus U36Jc, i5-480M + Nvidia G310M@RM3099 [1.7kg], external OD
Asus U31Sd, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT520M@RM2999[1.78kg], external OD
Dell Vostro 3350, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM2469[2.04kg], backlit keyboard
Dell Vostro 3350, i5-2410M + AMD HD6470@RM2636[2.04kg], backlit keyboard
Lenovo Ideapad Z370, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1999[2kg], colors: Blue/Pink/Black
Sony Vaio SB16, i5-2410M + AMD HD6470@RM3299 [1.7kg], W7P, 2 years warranty, Colors: Black/Pink/Silver/White
