Lenovo's THinkPad Edge 11?
But its running on ULV i3, and the RM1899 one is FreeDOS
Or perhaps the Toshiba Portege T230 if you still can find it, also running on ULV- i3-330UM, but enough for regular usage@RM1899 or cheaper

You get a variety of colors to choose from (but so far it seems only a few colors are available at the moment, need to find or wait).... the 2 years international warranty will come in handy, and it has a dedicated GPU + a Sandy Bridge processor

The K43U is better if compared to Atom-based netbooks and Arrandale notebooks with Intel HD graphics only unfortunately

The Toshiba you mentioned is quite outdated in terms of CPU and GPU.
The new one:

But the Asus is still better with a better GPU, less glossiness, chiclet keyboard and better looks
Toshiba will probably have better speakers...

GPU performance is not gauged by the amount of VRAM its has.

Not bad, but they say its laggy because of the W7 OS
Asus Eee Pad Transformer would be better

Its the best at the moment because of the 3 years promotional warranty
But do check whether the promotion is still on or not... if not, its better to consider other alternatives
