Not sure whether this promotion is really valid or not, still, you might wanna check it out: http://www.nt-pcstore.com/it/product.php?id_product=578 [credits to budakdegilz for sharing]  notworthy.gif
If it really comes with 3 years warranty, it'll be worth it nod.gif

If not, Dell M102z would be better because of the slightly better specs

Had planned to get Dell M102z before raya, Thanks now its time to investigate prices laugh.gif

Best bang for buck: HP Dv6 because of the much better GPU.
The others are more or less the same in terms of performance, hence it all boils down to which design you like more and whether you want the better speakers or not etc. nod.gif

Sure, why not? Upgrading RAM is quite easy laugh.gif
But you need to check out how much RAM does the laptop originally come with... if its 2x2GB... you might need to sell off/bargain with the shop ppl and change to 2x4GB RAM instead nod.gif

Design and looks depends on personal preferences one since different ppl has different taste...
If you ask me, I would prefer HP Dv6, Asus N53sv and Dell XPS 15
You can also consider Samsung RC530, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M@RM3199 too

Here are some of the models you can choose:
Asus A43Sj, i3-2310M + Nvidia GT520M@RM1999[2.44kg], Colors:Red/Blue/Pink/Green/Gold/Black
Dell Inspiron 14, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1999
Dell Inspiron 14, i5-2410M + AMD HD6470@RM2099
Lenovo G470, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1999
HP Pavilion G4, i3-2310M + AMD HD6470@RM1999
Toshiba Satellite L745-1049U, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1799, 2nd & 3rd year warranty
Toshiba Satellite L745-1050X, i3-2310 + Nvidia GT525M@RM1999, 2nd & 3rd year warranty

Personally, I would go for the one underlined because of the decent GPU and the 3 years warranty brows.gif

Hey T.J.

Quick question. Do you think Aspire 5755G, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M(@GB)@RM3099, 750GB HD, 8GB RAM is worth purchasing?

I have been using a Gateway ID56 for 2 years with Intel Centrino2 and Geforce G105m. My only issue is that I really want to have my money worth if I plan to get the Aspire and be able to play such games as MW3 and BF3 when it comes out.

Cheers

which brand is better....

what is the meaning of build quality?

One more question, i am confusing that do they provide the Genuine Windows® 7 cd after we purchase their products?

haha... brand as u like... all almost same same except when it comes to after sales warranty. lolx

build quality,..... physically go touch the lappy.... see whether it is well built and solid or not lor... some notebooks have flexi keyboards or loose hinge, or soft underside that makes u feel like it's going to break any moment. haha those things...

most of them wun provide... u have to burn a recovery cd ur self.
