I looking for a portable netbook.
Basically just for documentation work and multimedia (Surf web of course)

I confuse between choosing
HP DM1
Acer W500
Asus 1215B
Thinkpad edge 11 (Over budget)

Is it worth for me to trade in my old laptop Asus A52J because i tired to carry arround the campus. It was too heavy and bulky.

Hope any sifu can give some advice.

Thank you  notworthy.gif
*
my vote will go to hp dm1, or dell m102z~amd fusion with apu , enough for gals usage ~like u

asus 1215B seem like obsolete , but now still have stock in some retail shop

Thinkpad edge 11 (Over budget) almost 2k

sweat.gif

another suggestion~ try sell of ur a52sj in garage sales.
some times u trade in, the price buyer offer u will very low

might to share ur a52sj aged/ condition/ spec ? biggrin.gif

For portable and light weight. I would like to bring to campus but the 15.6 inch is too large.

Use for edit word and excel and multimedia.

Gaming is not a option as i usually go CC play.

Specs may be different among countries... do you have the exact Singaporean specs of these laptops?  hmm.gif

Well, the price is not the same in the product guide, where the cheapest A43Sv is still RM2349 nod.gif
Yeah, Asus's product guides had been quite weird ever since the last PC Fair, where all the products are upped by RM100.... until now still don't want to decrease. Hence I've no choice but to follow the RRPs stated there  sweat.gif
