Y470 easier to clean the fan, can buy mSATA SSD to have HDD + SSD + ODD setup in a 14'' tongue.gif

Acer is RM198 for notebook under RM2500, RM298 for above.

E420s is slimmer, lighter, metal chassis, edge-to-edge glossy display, thinklight, non-removable battery, and use 7mm HDD.
E420, plastic, anti-glare screen, and use standard 9.5mm HDD..
