after flashing the XWKE7 firmware without root, can we use ChainFire's insecure KDD kernel to root the phone? (coz in his thread, he stated that his method is only for KDD, but our version is now KE7)

dummy here.. Do we require root to flash the firmware via odin? (it wrote no need there..just to confirm)
