My 1st failure to unlock the screen, it was on standby, then i wanted to unlock, pressing the side button, or the hardware home button had failed to wake the phone up, trying to press the side button to off it, no reaction, screen still failed to lit up.

removed battery and pressed restart button... worked. and it booted up, now is good.
next time I dont know how much more serious this problem will be..

I dont want to hear that rubbish, nor will I accept the fact that it is. not until my exams are over.

i have used atrix and lg optimus2x (remember that atrix is damn fast, as confirms in many reviews) but still when i first have my hand on sgs2,i can feel it's supersmooth and speed..

not sure whether it is the software, or the exynos cpu.. but i doubt 200mhz gonna make such difference as we all know, the phone only runs at full speed in certain applications.

so now i believe exynos is superior than tegra2.

Last week of June, omg actually that is quite long.
The price RM2099 makes all of us think we will get the Tegra 2 version.
The clock speed doesn't matter much, it is about the CPU power, as we seen in Exynos the web browser is butter smooth, I hope the Tegra version should offer the same, I don't mind to pay more for the Exynos if Tegra is inferior.

For me I don't care about how good Tegra 2 performs in gaming, we can have PC or PS3/Xbox if you are true gamer, touch screen gaming just sucks IMO, cutting some fruits are enough for me to spend my free time. Web browsing is far more important, for me.

Mali is actually a faster GPU, however it still have some compatibility issues, when games developer realise the growth of Mali then SGS2 with Exynos will shrine and overshadows Tegra 2, which try to monopolise some games. 

It's the mid of May already and still no news about Malaysia release

Just got my sgs2 earlier tonight. First impression - silky smooth and screen is awesome. Now need to monitor battery usage.

Thinking hard whether I should root this baby or not. Hehe

the RRP from samsung with 2 yrs warranty is rm2099. the preorder is opening now and will come this sunday, 22/5/2011

The external battery is Yoobao YB-602 External Battery 4800mah. I bought it at lelong.com.my for RM 119 straight buy not bidding. You can search there or at garage sales lowyat ( the last time it was listed at about RM 200). Just plug in your SGS II USB cable or any USB-micro USB cable to it to charge the phone. Definitely can charge any Android phone

The other item , the 1500mAH back battery pack  is listed in the Taiwanese website - no idea of price when avaialble. Since just reported, I believe we should see such similar appearing in ebay soon

The plugin 1900maH to the base of the SGS II is generic type and can be plug into any phone having a micro USB slot. The model I have shown is specifically for the SGS II. Those I saw at Singapore Sim Lim quite similar and comes in 2-3 type of sizes, all basically plug into bottom of phone.

still not 100% confirm, but most likely SME set will end up with Tegra 2 in the end. I just wished the early batch is using Exynos
